Pin, pins

FRAME KNOCKS 1. Loose crosshead pin, pin caps or crosshead shoes. 2. Loose/worn main, crankpin or crosshead bearings. 3. Low oil pressure. 4. Cold oil. 5. Incorrect oil. 6. Knock is actually from cylinder end. [Pg.324]

Ejector pin Pin or dowel used to eject molded articles from a mold. [Pg.151]

Stenters (Tenters) and Textile Dryers These are the basic type of dryer used for sheets or webs in the textile industry. The sheet is held by its edges by clips (clip stenter) or pins (pin stenter), which not only suspend the sheet but also keep it taut and regulate its width—a vit consideration in textile drying. Drying is by convection hot air is introduced from one or both sides, passes over the surface of the sheet, and permeates through it. Infrared panels may also be used to supply additional heat. A schematic diagram of the unit is shown in Fig. 12-88. A typical unit is 1.4 m wide and handles 2 to 4 t/h of material. [Pg.1411]

There are a number of experimental aspects which affect biological DEP. One wants and indeed needs a nonuniform electric field to cause DEP. A variety of electrode shapes can be used, including pin-pin, wire-wire, pin-plate, and isomotive geometries. These are sketched in Figure 5. The isomotive electrode system is one designed to produce a constant DEP force over a finite region of a DEP chamber. It is particularly useful for analytical and in delicately comparative experiments. The pin-pin and wire-wire electrodes are relatively easy to construct and handle. [Pg.354]

The voltages used in conventional DEP experiments normally do not exceed some 30 V rms, and 10 V rms is useful on the simpler wire-wire or pin-pin electrode systems. ... [Pg.355]

The 10 pins socket at one side of the transmission links the internal and external wire harness. The soeket is injection molded it may be damaged if greater force is used during the installation of wire harness. The car body wire harness joint can be installed into the switch joint easily. This 10 pins pin type interface cannot be contaminated, or the electrieal eircuit will lose effect. Use electric spray cleaner to clean the dirty or wet switch interface. [Pg.79]

Plastic leaded chip carrier [ (PLCC) also known as PLDCC or a quad pack by some manufacturers, up to 100 pin packages, commonly 0.050-in pin spacing. Depending on the number of pins, pin 1 is in different locations but is confirmed by a dot in the molding, and the progression of the pin count continues counterclockwise. The leads are J shaped and protrude from the package. These parts... [Pg.862]

TC identifies and breaks combinational feedback loops automatically. The selection of the point in the combinational feedback loop chosen is reported in the check test output. Heuristics have been incorporated into check test that determine the point at which combinational feedback loops are broken. Further, TC understands functionally broken loops. The nodes at which check test avoids breaking combinational feedback loops in order of priority are as follows tristate/bidir enable pins, pins directly feeding asynchronous inputs of sequential elements, pins directly feeding other inputs of sequential elements, and gates with a large fan-out. [Pg.220]
