Testing and checks

A validation protocol is a document that describes the item to be qualified, the tests and checks to be performed, as well as the results that are expected to be obtained. It is a file in which the records, results, and evaluation of a completed validation program are assembled. It may also contain proposals for the improvement of processes and/or equipment [1]. Validation protocols are important in ensuring that documented evidence is taken which demonstrates that an equipment item, a system, a process, or a method consistently performs at a specified level... [Pg.816]

Validation is the final step to guarantee that a LC-MS system performs as expected. Validation includes instrument calibration, tuning, testing, and checking of the documentation for completeness, correctness, and compliance with SOPs. Validation consists of four separate steps ... [Pg.201]

The present volume follows the same general pattern as its successful predecessors and contains some sixty-nine independently tested and checked syntheses arranged in chapters according to the Mendeleef groups. The compounds which may be obtained through these directions are listed not only in the table of contents, but in a subsequent formula index and in a cumulative index for all six volumes. It might be pointed out that this comprehensive index now covers 389 syntheses and a considerably greater number of compounds. [Pg.275]

Diagnostic checks are normally conducted as a part of the IQ. Such checks include those of the built-in system configuration, conducting system loading tests, and checking timer accuracy. Software drivers, such as communication protocols, will also require testing. [Pg.264]

After the final model has been defined, tested, and checked according to all relevant means, the pharmacometrician needs to communicate the results to colleagues, peers, authorities, and so on. Although parameter estimates can be interesting, graphical displays play a major role in this phase. [Pg.209]

The general validity of the Forster cycle approach is undoubtedly linked first of all with the reality of the assumed microscopic reversibility of exdted-state proton transfer reactions. Secondly, the reliability of the K scale should be checked, when possible, against directly determined K values of well behaved photoacids. Furthermore, for the general validity of the IC scale to hold as defined by the Forster cycle its validity should not depend on the photoacid actually reaching equilibrium conditions or even on observing at all an excited-state proton transfer reaction within the finite lifetime of the excited state. These assertions should be carefully tested and checked before establishing the general applicability of the Forster cycle. [Pg.389]

Secondary or working standards may be established by the application of appropriate tests and checks at regular intervals to ensure standardization. All in-house reference standards should be based on official reference standards, when available. [Pg.29]

The personnel of quality control units should have particular expertise in herbal medicinal products to be able to carry out identification tests, and check for adulteration, the presence of fungal growth or infestations, lack of uniformity in a consignment of medicinal plant materials, etc. [Pg.116]

In order to achieve reliable results, Quality Control laboratories should have sufficient resources and appropriate facilities, with properly trained, managed and motivated staff, and adopt good quality control laboratory practices. Materials and products should not be released for use or supply until their quality has been judged satisfactory. Quality Control should be independent from Production. Quality Control should adopt procedures necessary to ensure that the relevant tests and checks are carried out... [Pg.607]

When we audit an entity, we perform an examination of it. Dictionaries typically emphasize official examinations of (financial) accounts, reflecting the accounting origin of the term. Accounting texts go further for example, testing and checking the records of an enterprise to be certain that acceptable policies and practices have been consistently followed (Carson and Carlson 1977, p. 2). In the human factors field, the term is broadened to include nonfinancial entities, but it remains faithful to the concepts of checking, acceptable policies/practices, and consistency. [Pg.1131]

Monitoring during plant operation is the object of developing specific means of testing and checking. [Pg.50]

Accomplishing this can be of an interest which is twofold first of all, results are obtained regarding the condition of the inspected structures and secondly, experience is acquired on the actual functionning of these specific testing and checking means. Examples can be cited that of the MIR (Fast Reactor Inspection Machine) and the problems linked to sodium inspection. [Pg.50]

B) These data must then be tested and checked to verify the absence of artifacts, such as mass and heat transfer limitations. [Pg.2]

Association s (ISEA) Instruments Group has updated its guidelines for the calibration and verification of portable gas monitors which alert workers to the presence of toxic and otherwise hazardous gases. Originally published in 2002, the document gives employers and users uniform guidance on the frequency and types of tests and checks... [Pg.58]
