Procedure development procedures

On the basis of positive results of the procedure attestation the statement about the possibility for use of the developed procedure is issued and approved in prescribed manner. [Pg.961]

Checking is performed in accredited laboratories on procedures developed in compliance with stated requirements and approved in the process of testing implementation on CTB 8001-93 or metrological attestation on CTB 8004-93. [Pg.964]

Yields up to 50% are obtained in a remote oxidation procedure developed by Bres-low. If, for example, the hydroxyl group of 3er-stigmastanol is esterified with 4 -... [Pg.285]

Several groups have developed procedures for Pd-mediated coupling based on this general chemistry. The variety of such procedures and the range of compounds for which they are applicable suggest that Pd-calalysed coupling is currently the most versatile method for introduction of 2-substituents which cannot be prepared directly from organolithium intermediates. [Pg.99]

Demilitarization and Disposal of Explosive Material. An important consequence of international agreements to greatiy reduce the stockpiles of conventional and nuclear munitions is the intensification of a program to develop procedures to destroy, recycle, and/or reclaim explosives, propellants, and pyrotechnic material efficientiy and without significant environmental impact. [Pg.7]

Safety Review. The safety review was perhaps the very first hazard analysis procedure developed. The procedure begins by the preparation of a detailed safety review report. The purpose of this report is to provide the relevant safety information regarding the process or operation. This report is generally prepared by the process engineer. A typical outline for this report follows. [Pg.470]

Enzyme—Heat—Enzyme Process. The enzyme—heat—enzyme (EHE) process was the first industrial enzymatic Hquefaction procedure developed and utilizes a B. subtilis, also referred to as B. amjloliquefaciens, a-amylase for hydrolysis. The enzyme can be used at temperatures up to about 90°C before a significant loss in activity occurs. After an initial hydrolysis step a high temperature heat treatment step is needed to solubilize residual starch present as a fatty acid/amylose complex. The heat treatment inactivates the a-amylase, thus a second addition of enzyme is required to complete the reaction. [Pg.290]

Consistent Data-Recording Procedures. Clear procedures for recording all pertinent data from the experiment must be developed and documented, and unambiguous data recording forms estabUshed. These should include provisions not only for recording the values of the measured responses and the desired experimental conditions, but also the conditions that resulted, if these differ from those plaimed. It is generally preferable to use the values of the actual conditions in the statistical analysis of the experimental results. For example, if a test was supposed to have been conducted at 150°C but was mn at 148.3°C, the actual temperature would be used in the analysis. In experimentation with industrial processes, process equiUbrium should be reached before the responses are measured. This is particularly important when complex chemical reactions are involved. [Pg.522]

Develop procedures for deahug with with emergency situations involving the storage, collection, treatment, and disposal of hazardous wastes. [Pg.2261]

Results obtained by the developed procedures were statistically comparable with those obtained by reference chromatographic techniques. [Pg.141]

There are numerous examples of successful application of the developed procedures using native and immobilized enzymes in analysis of environmental (waters and soils of different types, air) and biological (blood semm, urine) samples. [Pg.167]

On basis of developed criteria, the theoretical background of reference substances elaboration is developed, and also ai e developed procedures of elaboration and documentation system for the Ukrainian State Phamiacopoeia RS and for working RS of the phamiaceutical plants. These approaches ai e successfully applied to elaboration of RS for inter-laboratory testing. [Pg.349]

The determined macro- and microelement stmcture of mumio specifies onto the expediency of the application of this biologically active substance as a cosmetic raw material in the cosmetic compositions, which do not contain carbopol. The developed procedure for calcium and sodium ions determination in pectin-containing vegetative extracts is express and it is recommended for application at elaboration of cosmetic production compositions on the carbopol base. [Pg.375]

Implement strict quality control program Employ good operating procedures Develop effluent handling procedures... [Pg.20]

Use personal protective equipment Provide sufficient bottled air/SCBA Develop emergency response procedures Develop appropriate evacuation plans... [Pg.33]

Erequent start/stop Minimize frequent start/stop by proper sizing of of equipment may equipment (e.g. pump capacity) lead to equipment, Implement mechanical integrity program failure. Develop procedure to investigate causes for frequent reset of control Minimize frequent start/stop of equipment ... [Pg.53]

Develop procedures to characterize feedstock whenever changes have been made and reevaluate milling conditions... [Pg.99]

Low temperatures can cause a phase separation in stabilized solutions in which case one phase can become deficient in stabilizer and subject to runaway reactions. Acrylic acid can crystallize out of stabilized solution, and subsequent thawing of these essentially pure acrylic acid crystals can initiate runaway reactions, often with severe consequences. Thawing of crystallized (frozen) materials needs to be accomplished using established procedures in thaw boxes or similar devices. If established procedures are not available, a safety review needs to be conducted and a procedure developed prior to thawing the material. [Pg.107]

Develop procedure for dealing with deviations from normal... [Pg.134]

Develop, formalize and implement vessel entry procedures, tag out / lock out procedures, blanking procedures, and line breaking procedures... [Pg.137]
