Pre-warm two containers of TBS to 37 C (if using a water-bath this will take only 15-30 min, if using an oven leave overnight). A 50 ml Coplin jar can be used for small numbers of slides, a 400 ml trough for larger numbers. [Pg.396]

Immediately before use make the enzyme solution and transfer the warmed slides quicldy into it, incubate for 10-20 min with occasional agitation. [Pg.396]

When the incubation time is finished quickly transfer the slides to running tap-water and wash them well in this for 5 min to remove all traces of the enzyme. Discard the enzjmie solution. [Pg.396]

The introduction of HTAR methods has had a major impact on immunocyto-chemistiy, allowing reliable staining of a plethora of epitopes previously not or barely demonstrable in formalin-fixed paraffin processed material. [Pg.397]
