Documentation purpose

The QAP system additionally was developped for inspection documentation purposes to meet the modern requirements in process documentation (ISO 9000). It is the basic system required to install a fully automated inspection by a camera system and image processing. [Pg.629]

To obtain more information on each reaction of the hit list, it is possible to browse through the hit list, classify it (sec Section 5.13.4), print it, and export all the references on the hit list or save the reactions in different file formats for documentation purposes. [Pg.266]

The parts contained in the Digikey database and the parts you can download from Activeparts do not have PSpice models, although this feature may be added in the future. Thus, the projects we create can only be used for documentation purposes or for PC board layouts. No simulations can be performed on a circuit we create from these parts. Here, we will only show how to add these parts and create bills of materials. [Pg.548]

The first line of any SPICE netlist is the title line. It is used for documentation purposes only. The next few lines usually tell SPICE which analysis will be performed and what the bounds of that analysis will be. For example, we may be requesting a time domain analysis of a circuit (called a transient analysis). The information as to how long the waveform is and what increments and what section of it are of interest is defined in this section of the code. SPICE netlists generally have one function, command, or element per line (Fig. 2.1). Also defined upfront are global constants, subcircuits (models) used repeatedly in the main circuit, and instructions on which nodes are of interest in the final solution, though this structure is not mandatory. [Pg.10]

Upon successful installation of the software, a printout of the resulting directory listings may be obtained for verification and documentation purposes. This printout may be enclosed as part of the executed software IQ protocol. [Pg.70]

The basic concept is that estimated results for pesticide movements and exposure levels vary greatly with the model types and modeling philosophy. Before con-dncting a model exercise, a conceptual check of the model is needed to ascertain if the model contains aU relevant routes of exposure. A simple model, such as SCIES, is based on worst-case assumptions, and may be sufficient for inhalation risk assessment. More complicated simulation models, such as CONSEXPO and InPest, provide information on the amounts of pesticides on the room materials, as well as the airborne concentration, and they are appropriate for risk assessment via aU routes. Even in complicated models, each mechanistic model contains assumptions to simplify the process description of the pesticide movement in the real world . The underlying assumptions for each of the models, and the relevant processes they implicate, are criteria to consider when selecting an appropriate model. Therefore, the validity of the assumptions used for the assessment should be considered before using the model, and they should be well documented. A simple phrase such as, we used model xx to estimate an exposure level of yy, is inadequate for documentation purposes. [Pg.238]

Graphical Representation. Occasionally it is desirable to store chemical structures as "pictures", usually for document purposes. For example, some chemical drawing packages and many molecular modeling packages can store structures as the following ... [Pg.371]

You can attach comments to a cell, for documentation purposes, in the form of a comment. A comment appears on the worksheet in a small box similar to a ToolTip. A small red triangle in the upper right comer of the cell indicates that the cell contains a comment. When the mouse pointer is moved over a cell that contains a cell comment, the cell comment appears. [Pg.12]

An alternative is provided by sterilizable metering pumps, but there are drawbacks they are sensitive to gas bubbles and, for documentation purposes, an additional flow measurement device is necessary. A special device is made by Bioengineering Co., using a membrane valve combination for pumping (Kobio pump). [Pg.287]

The basic format of the history interview will apply to all settings, including acute care, long-term care, ambulatory care, and retail, and can be adjusted to the specific needs of that setting. Utilization of patient data collection forms may be useful for documentation purposes and for guiding the flow and consistency of the interview. There are many sources for the format of data collection forms, which are discussed in a later section. [Pg.285]

The development of VeDa began more than a decade ago, when the subject of conceptual information modeling received first attentions in chemical engineering. ft was initiated by Marquardt [289—291] to support the mathematical modeling of chemical processes. VeDa provides concepts for the description of mathematical models, the modeled objects, and - for documentation purposes - the activities and the decisions taken during model building. Thus, VeDa describes not only product data but to some extent work processes, as well. [Pg.93]

For documentation purposes, a much-abbreviated reaction scenario for glutaminolysis is shown in Figure 3.3. Glutamine is an amino acid, and glutaminolysis is only part of the more general topic of the metabolism of amino acids, which is covered in the standard texts and references on biochemistry. [Pg.98]

Careful documentation is essential. Medications that are currently being taken should be distinguished from those that have been taken in the past. Generally, a time frame of at least three months is recommended for documentation of past medication use. Because most individuals may have trouble remembering, especially those who have taken multiple medications, it is important to be supportive and allow the client to search for any medication bottles or prescriptions that will provide accurate information for documentation purposes. [Pg.65]

Autoradiography. Autoradiography is one of the oldest methods used for semiquanti-tative measurement of radioactivity. The chromatogram is placed on an x-ray film and exposed in the dark for usually less than 1 h (a detailed procedure is given elsewhere) (Theobald 1994). This method is no longer in use since it is time-consuming and inaccurate. Visualization of the radioactivity distribution on a film may be useful for documentation purposes. [Pg.131]

The covalent bonds of a chemical constitution of an EM which contains a set of n atoms can be represented by an x ACM. The ACM were introduced in 1963 by Spialter 29) for documentation purposes. In an atom connectivity matrix B, each off-diagonal entry % indicates the formal bond order between an indexed pair of atoms, Aj and Aj. The ACM are symmetric matrices because the chemical bond is a symmetric relation. [Pg.32]

The ERD is an excellent tool to help understand and explore the conceptual data model. It is less useful, however, for documentation purposes. To address the documentation requirements, a data dictionary (DD) is used. The DD is a repository of aU data definitions for all the data in the system. A DD entry is required for each data flow and data store on every DFD and for each entity in the ERDs. Developing a DD entry typically begins with naming the data structure being described, either by flow name, file name, or entity type. The list of attributes follow, with a description of the attribute, the attribute type, and the maximum size of the attribute, in characters. The attribute type is specified (e.g., integer, text, date, or binary). In the case of a data file, the average size of the file is indicated. [Pg.102]

Nobody these days could imagine new products being designed and constructed without software tools. However, in the field of assembly line planning for new products, a lot of paperwork still has to be done. Most companies use computers only for documentation purposes and visualization of planning results. This means that many companies still use standard office tools for this field of activity and even execute the concept for the layout of assembly lines with a simple graphic tool. The high number of different tools and interfaces means that an actual data status for all project participants is impossible. [Pg.386]

The methodology should be computerized to minimize the possibility that important aspects (e.g, dependencies) of the identified human actions/errors are lost. This computerization scheme should ensure that all information necessary for documentation purposes is captured and that documentation of any or all human actions could be performed by simply selecting the appropriate human action and producing a report. [Pg.32]

The automatic measurement offers numerous advantages in comparison to the manual measurement with conventional polariscopes and polarimeters. Besides an increased level of reliahility through a much better repeatability and reproducibility, the developed systems allow it to fiie the measuring results for documentation purposes and subsequent statistical analysis. The real-time capabiiity makes it possibie to integrate tbe technology into the production processes, e.g. into inspection machines. [Pg.176]

Although for many years there are rumors about paperless offices and laboratories, it can be stated that more than ever paper is used for documentation purposes. But the road is mapped-out similar to the field of photography where most images are incurred nowadays in electronic form, more electronic data will be generated and stored for regulatory purposes in the future. In principle, the same requirements apply to electronic documents as to paper documents however, electronic documents have high demands for data security (see Table 8.6). [Pg.317]

Parts 3 to 7 of the ISO 26262 eontain chapters requesting development activities in the context of functional safety. Each of these chapters specifies work products as input to subsequent processes of the lifecycle or for documentation purposes used for the deployment of the safety case. Reports, documenting content and relations of the EEA model, can be automatically generated and formatted out of PREEvision and thereby support the deployment of the safety case. The content of reports is based on results of predefined model query rules. [Pg.189]

For documentation purposes, the developed plates are either scaimed, video-recorded, or photographed. [Pg.113]

The original powerpoint presentation incorporated an assembly movie, which can not be saved in a pdf format. For documentation purposes, key frames from this movie are provided on the next five sheets. [Pg.94]

For chemical documentation purposes, each molecular graph should have a unique name or code which should allow indexing and retrieval. This necessity has been partly fulfilled by the traditional chemical nomenclature and by the development of linear notation systems. Both approaches are in use and are able to discriminate among isomeric structures, but rely heavily on conventions. Chemical names may be indexed alphabetically within a set of isomeric systems, which in turn may be ordered according to the molecular formula this fact makes chemistry the best-documented natural science. Linear notation... [Pg.22]
