Cinematographe (Auguste and Louis Lumiere) The Lumiere brothers combined motion-picture camera, printer, and projector helps establish the movie business. Using a very fine-grained silver-halide gelatin emulsion, they cut photographic exposure time down to about one minute. 

These circuits are made by laminating copper foil onto a flexible substrate such as Kevlar or Kapton . They can range from a single conductor layer up to several layers. Danfoss QueCheck Vision System performs a continuous analysis directly from the production line, typically at 0.5 s intervals. The material is fed in a fine stream, by means of a vibratory feeder, past a vision camera that calculates the size distribution as it falls. Online image processing has also been applied to monitoring granule size distribution and shape in fluidized bed granulation [150].

Any device connected to the computer but not essential for its basic operation can be called a peripheral device. Peripherals also may be regarded as those devices connected to the computer via a cable. With the possible exception of the hard drive that contains the operating system, most storage devices can be regarded as peripherals. Other peripherals include printers, scanners, cameras, and other devices for getting data in or moving data out, typically called input/output devices or I/O devices.
