Reference or baseline data sets should be acquired for each machine-train or process system to be included in a predictive maintenance program when the machine is installed or after the first scheduled maintenance once the program is established. These data sets can be used as a reference or comparison for all future measurements. However, such data sets must be representative of the normal operating condition of each machine-train. Nearly all of the commercially available membranes are based on Nafion. The third problem concerns the construction of the yardstick itself. We need to know what would have happened to the patients had we treated them otherwise, but whatever approach we use will have its difficulties. These results support the hypothesis that dermal absorption is a viable entry for MBOCA. They also demonstrate that the circulatory system distributes MBOCA to the liver, kidneys, fat, and lungs. In this study, intravenously exposed animals were used as controls in order to obtain a 100% absorbed dose baseline for comparison with the pharmacokinetic data obtained for dermal exposure.

Prior to the applieation of the FlammaTec Flex Burners, Libbey had tried several different types of burners over the recent years in an effort to improve efficiency, each with varying degrees of success. The most recent improvement prior to the FlammaTec burners was used as the furnace operating baseline for comparison purposes.
