Vaulted. Vaulted tanks are installed inside a concrete vault. The vault, itself a Hquid-tight compartment, reduces the fire protection requirements as the NFPA and the International Fire Code Institute (IFCI) recognize these tanks as fire-resistant aboveground storage tanks.
