Verification responsible party

Each document that is prepared for a validation program must be approved by all responsible parties. Documents that require data collection must also be approved after the completion of all required tests and verifications.

New companies are verified three years after joining CCPA using a comprehensive Responsible Care-in-Place Verification protocol, with subsequent verifications following a more focused protocol. Safety-related controllers in conjunction with safety or fail safe I/O modules are used for critical and hazardous applications where an incident can result in danger to persons, and/or damage to plant and environment. The Third Review Conference noted that the OPCW has established a verification system that meets the requirements of the Convention. A well-defined and documented programme of testing on the computer system supplier s premises before shipment to site of all items connected together or simulated, carried out in the presence of the other involved parties will do much to eliminate any anomalies. However, this does not reduce in any way the need for both hardware and software to be subjected to extensive and detailed verification and development on site.
