Training and research

The seven Participating Organizations of the lOMC are FAO, ILO, OECD, UNEP, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and WHO. In addition, two observer organizations are also participating in the lOMC, namely the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Bank aOMC 2006).

The chemical industry is tied to its local innovation network. The ability to recruit the brightest people, as well as to draw on valuable academic research, actually strengthens the university sector, which itself is concerned with excellence in training and research. 

Although Home TPN Care resides within the home care service division in the health system s organizational structure, an administrative relationship exists between Home TPN Care and the health system s department of pharmacy services. Thus many administrative, pharmacy practice, and educational activities are collaborative and integrated. There is Home TPN Care representation on several department of pharmacy committees. Additionally, most of Home TPN Care s professionals hold academic appointments within the university, reflecting a commitment to teaching, experiential training, and research.

Communication, education and research developments expensive communication technologies for local people, concentrated power over the media dominance of training and research in conventional agriculture (loss of traditional knowledge, little increase in knowledge). 

This need for attention was recognised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the International Labor Organization (ILO). They have co-operated closely to help improve capacities by having an ASEAN component in their Global GHS Capacity Building Program, 2005-2007. Some terms are used in other ways by other researchers, or in other countries, and may have legal definitions different from those given here. The distinctions drawn among light, heavy, extra-heavy, and bituminous crude oils were made on the basis of United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)-sponsored discussions aimed at establishing such definitions (i-3). For terms drawn from the area of colloid and interface science, much reliance was placed on the recommendations of the lUPAC Commission on Colloid and Surface Chemistry (4), For important emulsion terms that are frequently used in industrial practice, the aim was to be consistent with the standard petroleum dictionaries such as references 5-7. 

The industrial training and research institutes carry on research for an entire field of industry—e.g., cement, steel, or glass—and not for one particular plant or industrial establishment which they call kombinat roughly comparable to our corporation. The results of research carried out in these institutes are usually published in full in their own serials. The material included in theses and submitted in partial fulfillment of requirements for academic degrees are published is condensed form and are usually referred to as "Avtoreferat dissertatsii. ... 

Publications of the industrial training and research institutes. These report predominantly applied research. 

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) joined the lOMC in 1997. The lOMC vision is to be the preeminent mechanism for initiating, facilitating, and coordinating international action to achieve the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) 2020 goal for round management of chemicals. 

The IFCS coordinates an international structure that includes the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the OECD, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
