However, the specific serotonin uptake inhibitor fluoxetine failed to produce an MBDB-like cue and failed to block the stimulus effects of MBDB when it was given prior to a training dose of MBDB. Table 3 summarizes results of fluoxetine testing in MBDB-trained rats. In other exploratory studies, pretreatment of MDMA-trained rats with either methysergide or ketanserin failed to block completely the MDMA-discriminative stimulus.

Figure 6 summarizes results of a series of experiments in which the bromine sorption and ammonia stages were carried out on unfoamed PS beads, containing 6% of absorbed gaseous pentane. The porofica-tion treatment did not affect the pentane and the smaples could be expanded by steam in the usual manner, to obtain foam densities of 0.0145 g/cm. It is noteworthy that the amounts of NH Br deposited are much smaller than in the case of the foamed samples 1 and 2. 

The goal of this report is to present the current state of this field by summarizing results of molecules currently in the clinic as well as by providing a snapshot of the diverse preclinical CCR5 or CXCR4 binders that were recently disclosed in patent applications and the peer-reviewed literature. Additional background and earlier developments can be found in earlier reviews [1-6]. 

In order to validate the accuracy of our measurements, three samples of virgin PTFE in the same cylindrical donut size were measured and found to have average DE values around 1.96-1.99, which are close to the reported values 2.0-2.08. Summarized results ofthe DE measurements on the polymer donuts are shown in Table 11.1. All the new polymer exhibit low DEs, around 1.06-2.41, over a wide frequency region of 500 MHz to 18.5 GHz the variation of DE values over the measured frequency region is within 0.03, which indicates a wide-range frequency independence.

Table 11 summarizes results of spin trapping experiments where PBN-Nu and other ST-Nu" systems have been oxidized anodically at platinum. Originally, all the reactions were suggested to proceed via Nu radicals (Janzen et al., 1980 Walter et al., 1982), but the fact that PBN is oxidized at a lower potential than Cl-, CNO and CN- (Tables 1 and 5) clearly shows that the faster electrochemical process must be PBN— PBN + at the potentials employed. On the other hand, azide ion is oxidized in a faster reaction than any of the spin traps used and thus azide radical is implicated as being trapped. The Cr 4MePyPBN [17] system is a case where possibly Cl is involved in view of the high pa of this spin trap. 

In this chapter we will cover the existing literature on fullerenes for PDT, summarize results from our laboratory and outline future possibilities concerning applications of fullerenes as PS for PDT. Figure 4.1 gives a schematic outline of the PDT applications that have been reported for fullerenes either pristine or functionalized with various solubilizing groups.

A critical issue is the extent to which the isotope composition of a metamorphic rock is modified by a fluid phase. Volatilization reactions leave an isotope signature greatly different from that produced when fluid-rock interaction accompanies mineral-fluid reaction. In this paper, we summarize results from a small scale methane direct oxidation reactor for residence times between lO and lO seconds. For this work, methane oxidation (using air or oxygen) was studied over Pt-10% Rh gauze catalysts and Pt- and Rh-coated foam and extruded monoliths at atmospheric pressure, and the reactor was operated autothermally rather than at thermostatically controlled catalyst temperatures. By comparing the steady-state performance of these different catalysts at such short contact times, tiie direct oxidation of methane to synthesis gas can be examined independent of the slower reforming reactions.
