As a world leader in Fluorine chemistry, Honeywell has established a broad base of application specific products to enable the semiconductor industry to meet its technology roadmap. Most recently, we have announced the availability of a new line of wafer thinning materials which provide increased chip flexibility and reduced package size as well as increased thermal dissipation... 

The next level of presentation is a technical summary that gives details of the risks including the system s importance measures systems, effects of data changes, and assumptions that are critical to the conclusions. It details the conduct of the analysis - especially the treatment of controversial points. The last level of presentation includes all of the details including a roadmap to the analysis so a peer can trace the calculations and repeat them for verification.

According to the international technology roadmap for semiconductors, chips with a wafer diameter of450 mm and a feature size of 0.05 /xm by 2011 will serve to decrease manufacturing costs [29]. The goal of the LCA is to understand the impact of the existing fluid milk supply chain on energy usage and GHG emissions, as well as the other impact categories provided that data are available, and to use the information as a roadmap for improvements to the process. The LCA also provides an environmental benchmark to identify points where improvements to the fluid milk supply chain may be made.

Over the last 10 years there has been a major initiative to bring HTS into the academic community. The NIH roadmap has a mission to build a better toolbox for medical research in the twenty-first century and to empower the research community to use small molecule compounds in their research, whether as tools to perturb genes and pathways, as imaging probes in basic or clinical applications, or as starting points to the development of new therapeutics for human disease. 

Despite the fact that polymer/additive analysis is a growth area (Figure 1.2), and taking into account the aforementioned considerations, it could well be that the near future will see a more modest increase beyond the current 400 research papers per year on the topic of polymer/additive deformulation. This book has provided a roadmap to polymer/additive analysis. It is up to the users to make ingenious use of the (necessarily limited) equipment at their disposal for their specific problemsolving cases. 

One of the potential ways to improve repository performance dramatically is through transmutation of long-lived isotopes. We have embarked on a roadmapping process for Accelerator Transmutation of Waste, together with colleagues from Japan, Russia, France, and other countries. 

The result of this effort was an ATW roadmap released by DOE just this week. It concluded that ATW would require a six-year, 281 million R D effort for open technical issues. ATW could complement geologic disposal, and any decision to pursue ATW would follow evaluation of technical, costs, and nonproliferation issues. Whether or not this effort leads to any ATW international collaboration, we are eager to expand international collaboration on nuclear waste issues in general.
