Roadmap Information

The NEMI Year 2000 Roadmap is a good source of detailed roadmap information for IC packaging, PCB technology, optoelectronics, and so on. 

The goal of the LCA is to understand the impact of the existing fluid milk supply chain on energy usage and GHG emissions, as well as the other impact categories provided that data are available, and to use the information as a roadmap for improvements to the process. The LCA also provides an environmental benchmark to identify points where improvements to the fluid milk supply chain may be made. 

One of the most useful roadmaps of alchemical laboratory activity across the twentieth century, from which this information is derived, can be found in Caron 2005.

In Part V we show you how to pull all the previous information together and use it to develop strategies for designing synthesis reactions. We talk about both one-step and multistep synthesis as well as retrosynthetic analysis. Then we tackle the dreaded organic roadmaps. (We all wish we had an organic chemistry GPS here.)...

Founded in 1986 and based in Menlo Park, California, this nonprofit organization aims to promote the beneficial aspects of nanotechnology and inform the public on the achievements and the realistic goals in this field of research. Foresight Nanotech Institute s Web site contains many articles with current news and basic scientific information on nanotechnology, as well as a roadmap for future developments. 

Some of the information in this paper was prepared for and taken from a US NIST project in process, an IT Security Standards and Guidelines Roadmap. For more details on becoming a standards draft reviewer and in fact on all levels of involvement in the development processes, please refer to the NIST document once it becomes available. It is also recommended that the NIST document be referenced for descriptions of types of SDO s, for SDO methods and processes, for SDO membership requirements, and for an overview of salient standards and guidelines important to IT Security.

The technical goal for each of these Focus Areas is to gather sufficient information and validating experience on technology applications so that the responsible SDO or CDP can proceed with better data upon which to base requirements incorporated in its codes and standards. Each Focus Area is subdivided into key Target Areas, which identify important information needs for which information is required by SDOs and CDOs to fully develop codes and standards. Completion of RD D for the individual technical Target Areas, in conjunction with information distribution, is expected to result in the subsequent development of safe, performance-based codes and standards. The Roadmap will be implemented over the next five years as proposed in the timeline for the Focus Areas.
