Furthermore, some recent initiatives from groups of companies in the Nordic countries should be mentioned. Sweden Textile Water Initiative (STWI) started in 2010 as a joint project between textile and leather retail companies in Sweden. As of November 2011, 32 companies have joined STWI. The aim of the STWI is to produce guidelines for sustainable water management both for the textile sector and the leather sector. 

Different classification systems are available to estimate the individual risk of presenting a cardiovascular event in the next 10 years. One of the most frequently used is the Framingham score risk, for which there is also software available online (Third Report of the National Cholesterol Education Program 2002), but recently several organizations involved in cardiovascular care have produced guidelines to identify and manage these risk situations (Mosca 2004). 

The Instrumental Criteria Sub-committee of the Analytical Methods Committee has been active for many years in producing Guidelines for the Evaluation of Analytical Instrumentation. Since 1984, they have produced reports on atomic absorption, ICP, X-ray spectrometers, GLC, HPLC, ICP-MS, molecular fluorescence, UV-Vis-NIR, IR and CE. Discussions will not be complete if fusion technology is not touched upon, especially in view of ITER project aims to produce electricity in fusion power stations. The ITER develops 500 MW of power utilizing fusion technology. This project is located in France and is funded by many countries in the European Union, as well as India, Japan, China, Russia, South Korea, and the United States. There is also research into reactors for which there are a number of guidelines for safety in fusion technology. The IAEA has produced guidelines for these.
