Add ingredients in order shown and dissolve completely between each addition. 

Dipentene is described as a product of fractionation of pine oils containing related monocyclic terpene hydrocarbons, predominantly dipentene. (Structurally, dipentene is the Same as lim-onene. D-limonene is one of the 2 optical isomers of dipentene.) Other components of commercial dipentene include carene and alpha- and beta- pinene. 

Add and mix the first four ingredients (dipentene and emulsifiers). Dissolve the sodium metasilicate (if used) in the water and add it to the emulsifiers and dipentene with mixing.

Medium-chain (C]o-C]6) alcohol sulfates are used in some parts of the world for liquid shampoos and bubble baths, especially as the alkanolamine- instead of the Na-salt. The salts are also used in dishwashing formulations, - fire fighting foams, hand lotions and household cleaners. Because of their limited water solubility, the sodium salts are used in shampoos, hand cleaners, syndet soaps and foa-mers in tooth paste. 

When added to hand cleansing pastes, the highly skin-compatible PEGs have a very beneficial effect on the skin even if the paste contains aggressive detergents and abrasives yet they do not impair the effectiveness of the cleaner.
