Medicated lozenges

The types of raw materials used in medicated lozenges may vary according to a number of factors. Most medicated lozenges contain sugar, corn syrup, acidu-lant, colorant, flavor, and the medicament.

Phenol can have beneficial effects when used for medical reasons.
