The pragmatic beauty of the chemical fingerprint is that the more common features of two molecules that there are, the more common bits are set. The mathematic approach used to translate the fingerprint comparison data into a measure of similarity tunes the molecular comparison [5]. The Tanimoto similarity index works well when a relatively sparse fingerprint is used and when the molecules to be compared are broadly comparable in size and complexity [5]. If the nature of the molecules or the comparison desired is not adequately met by the Tanimoto index, multiple other indices are available to the researcher. For example, the Daylight software offers the user over ten similarity metrics, and the Pipeline Pilot as distributed offers at least three. Some of these metrics (e.g., Tversky, Cosine) offer better behavior if the query molecule is significantly smaller than the molecule compared to it. 

The index works out at 21 classified as Fight . Ammonia would not normally be considered a dangerously flammable material the danger of an internal explosion in the reactor is the main process hazard. The toxicity of ammonia and the corrosiveness of nitric acid would also need to be considered in a full hazard evaluation.

The layout of the plant must be such that the PHI target minimum of 10000 is maintained. A chemical process reactor with the possibility of failure by explosion and an IBI (interval between incidents) index of lOOOOy may be considered as an example, supposing that average number of personnel exposed is four. Powder indexing is not like structure analysis, which works well on good data and will usually get by on poor data given a little more time and attention. Powder indexing works beautifully on good data, but with poor data it will usually not work at all. 

Index work cannot be carried out by nontechnical people in a reliable way. A searcher may, however, obtain help from a stenographer who is intelligent and willing the searcher may go through indexes and mark references for copying the stenographer... 

However, there may also be other explanations for the negative relationship between RELIA and PRICE. The classical approach to making documents retrievable from an archive would be to index and sub-index. The user follows the appropriate route to find what he is looking for. In practice there would be parallel routes such as indexing by author. In 1990, ASTM E07-01 started work on a revision of E94. The proposed criteria for film classification used graininess and gradient to produce an index which represented quality. One final thought. Strike found that there are a lot of companies that do not sell sodium bisulfite (NaHSOa). What this meant to Strike was that metabisulfite would work just as well. So some was purchased and tried. And it really does work just the samel... 

These subjects have been reviewed up the year 1975 in various works. Prij s Card Index (363) of thiazole compounds provides swift access to information on individual compounds. Syntheses of thiazoles have been carefully reviewed by Wiley etal. (361), and in 1957 the subject was dealt with in an excellent survey by Sprague and Land (448).
