Because they can precisely measure wavelengths, FTIR spectrometers permit spectra and file storage using an instrument form at and certain rules so that spectra can be treated by instruments from other manufacturers. These vaccines are also listed by the CDC CVX codes (codes that indicate the product used in a vaccine) for tracking vaccination records. Huvax has provided cross-references based on these CDC CVX codes. Huvax provides ways for users to search, compare, and analyze licensed human vaccines. Various criteria can be used for querying human vaccines. Different vaccines can also be compared side by side. Vevax is a VIOLIN database of licensed veterinary vaccines (http //www. violinet.org/vevax). [Pg.119]

Intel introduced the 80386 in 1985. With 275,000 transistors, the 80386 represented a new generation for processors, because it was the first Intel x86 processor that used both a 32-bit data bus and a 32-bit address bus. The situation with the 386 was unique because up until this point Intel would license its technology to other manufacturers. As we mentioned earlier, with the 386 Intel decided to stop licensing. Not to be outdone, the other manufacturers like AMD and Cyrix came up with a chip they called the 386SX. This chip still operated internally at 32 bits (just like the full-blown 386) but had only a 16-bit external data path and a 16-bit address bus. The USP typically obtains candidate ARS material for a newly approved article from the pharmaceutical innovator but may also source the material from other manufacturers. Occasionally, the USP may synthesize sufficient material for use as an ARS. Once sufficient material to meet the needs of the USP for several years is sourced, a collaborative study is performed between the laboratories of the USP, the innovator, and one or more neutral or interested parties to fully characterize the material.
