Cefoperazone sodium

There are drug products whose interaction with PVC bags and infusion sets are so high that they must include labehng precautions for use with PVC containers. These drugs include antineoplastics such as pachtaxel, docetaxel, tacrolimus, and teniposide, and others such as ciprofloxacin, cefoperazone sodium, fluconazole, metronidazole HC1, cimetidine, and propofol [64,65]. 

Cefoperazone Sodium Admixture of cefoperazone sodium and aminoglycosides leads to inactivation of these drugs. Cefoperazone sodium is not compatible with other drugs that include diltiazem, pentamidine, perphenazine, pethidine, and promethazine.2... 

Pethidine Hydrochloride Pethidine hydrochloride solutions are not compatible with barbiturates, aminophylline, morphine sulfate, sulfadiazine sodium, methicilline sodium, nitrofurantoin, phenytoin sodium, heparin sodium, sodium iodide, diethanolamine, sulfafurazol, acyclovir sodium, liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride, frusemide, imipenem, and idarubicin. Visual incompatibilities are reported with mixtures of pethidine hydrochloride and cefoperazone sodium or mezlocillin sodium, nafcillin sodium and minocycline hydrochloride or tetracycline hydrochloride in 5% glucose injection.82 83... 

Remifentanil Hydrochloride Remifentanil hydrochloride should not be mixed with lactated Ringer s injection, 5% glucose injection, or blood products. Solutions of remifentanil hydrochloride are incompatible with chlorpromazine hydrochloride, remifentanil, cefoperazone sodium, and amphotericin.84... 

Amifostine Amifostine is incompatible with many drugs such as acyclovir sodium, amphotericin, cefoperazone sodium, hydroxyzine hydrochloride, miconazole, minocycline hydrochloride, and prochlorpherazine edisylate.239 Care should be exercised when handling amyl nitrate, since it is highly flammable. Volatile nitrites, such as poppers, are abused and fatal adverse effects are reported.240,241...

Some cephem analogs (cephaprin sodium, cefuroxime sodium, cefotaxime sodium, cefoperazone sodium, cefadroxil, ceftazidime, cefazolin sodium and cefaclor) can be determined spectrophotometrically based on formation of ion-pair complex with ammonium reinecekate. In acidic medium at 25 + 2°C, as the reaction products, the complex, absorbing at 525 nm, was formed according to the scheme [49] ...
