Cefonicid sodium

Cefonicid Sodium, Sterile, USP. Monocid is a second-generation cephalosporin that is structurally similar to cefa-mandolc, except that it contains a methane sulfonic acid group attached to the N-l position of the tetramie ring. The antimicrobial spectrum and limited /9-lactamase stability of cefonicid are essentially identical with those of cefamandole. [Pg.328]
