The water hberated during the cure has no apparent effect on the composite properties. Ammonium Sulfamate. A number of flame retardants used for ceUulosic materials, including fabrics and paper products, are based on ammonium sulfamate (56). Self-assembled monolayers are formed spontaneously by the immersion of an appropriate substrate into a solution of active surfactant in an organic solvent.
