Maintenance precautions

Abnormal operating conditions or neglecting necessary maintenance precautions cause most bearing failures. Bearings may experience premature and/or catastrophic failure on machines that are operated heavily loaded. [Pg.1023]

It is very important to maintain a vigorous, well-documented maintenance plan for the vacuum furnace. In addition to normal preventative maintenance, below is a list of additional maintenance precautions that go beyond normal maintenance tasks. [Pg.242]
