Most of the studies reported in the literature do not consider the effect of pressure, since this variable is kept constant during the experiments, and the reaction rate is represented as a simple dependence on rate constant and hydrocarbon concentration. The Arrhenius equation relates the rate constant with temperature, although in complex systems it is sometimes necessary to take into account the effect of other reaction variables. For modeling these complex systems, it has been reported that multiparameter model is better than simplified ones since it includes more process variables, and thus their effect on reaction rate can be observed (Mapiour et al., 2010). [Pg.431]
