Output. There are many possibilities for the implementation of interfaces. They include file transfer, the use of transactions and the modern technology to define an integration layer and adapters (e.g., SAP NetWeaver). 

A system administers dental patients across several clinics. A clinic can refer a patient to another clinic. The other clinic can reply, accepting or otherwise updating the status of the referral. Eventually, the reply is seen back at the referring clinic, and the case file is updated. Later, the final treatment status of the patient is sent back to the referring clinic. Then there is a financial transaction between the two climes for the referral. 

The Enterprise JavaBeans model lets you implement business functions as JavaBeans and then plug them in to a standard container that provides automatic management of resources and contention from multiple threads, transaction programming based on two-phase commit across multiple independent components, and distributed programming. An EJB component, packaged into a JAR file, has four main parts. 

Each object has the ability to serialize itself and also to initialize itself from a serialized representation. If the programming language has a reflective facility, you can write a single piece of code to determine the structure of the object and perform serialization and initialization. Java serialization works this way. Of course, flat files do not provide any of the multi-user, concurrency, meta-data, schema evolution, transaction, and recovery facilities that a database provides. 

This file is available for general use via the ADP-Cyphemetics network. Currently, the charging of options in this system is not transaction-priced. Enough statistics are now available to indicate that all searches other than structural searches cost less than 2.00 and that the structural searches cost possibly from 2 to 10.

Test Account Setup and Approval. The account application is reviewed by the FDA ESG Administrator. The Administrator verifies that a letter of nonrepudiation agreement is on file, that the digital certificate conforms to the X.509 version 3 standard, and that all data fields in the Issuer and Subject fields are completed (see Appendix A, Digital Certificates for more information). The Administrator will also communicate with the Transaction Partner to confirm the application information. If these conditions are met, a test account is set up, and connections to the FDA ESG test system are established before the submitting organization is approved as a Transaction Partner. 

The physical inventory of the plates on an HTS robotics system must be synchronized with the plate logistics system to ensure that all physical transactions are tracked and any transformation requests can be directed to the instrumentation via the plate logistics software. Any analytical instrumentation should also be integrated here, because analytical data relates to specific samples in specific plates. The HTS plate reader output files are loaded into the assay data system via software that integrates the HTS reader instrumentation with the operational assay data management system.

The actual hearings took place in late April and early May of that year.
