Many successful projects have shown that application information can be divided into the following four categories Terminology, Special Characteristics, Abstract Functions, and Graphics. Although these categories are the basis for the searchable application data base, each project requires a conceptual phase to define how to focus. 

APPLICANT INFORMATION This section should include the name, street address, telephone, and facsimile numbers of the legal person or entity submitting the application in the appropriate areas. 

APPLICATION INFORMATION If this submission is an ANDA or 505(b)(2), this section should include the name of the approved drug that is the basis of the application and identify the holder of the approved application in the indicated areas. 

Application of the test substance to the test system is without doubt the most critical step of the residue field trial. Under-application may be corrected, if possible and if approved by the Study Director, by making a follow-up application if the error becomes known shortly after the application has been made. Over-application errors can usually only be corrected by starting the trial again. The Study Director must be contacted as soon as an error of this nature is detected. Immediate communication allows for the most feasible options to be considered in resolving the error. If application errors are not detected at the time of the application, the samples from such a trial can easily become the source of undesirable variability when the final analysis results are known. Because the application is critical, the PI must calculate and verify the data that will constitute the application information for the trial. If the test substance weight, the spray volume, the delivery rate, the size of the plot, and the travel speed for the application are carefully determined and then validated prior to the application, problems will seldom arise. With the advent of new tools such as computers and hand-held calculators, the errors traditionally associated with applications to small plot trials should be minimized in the future. The following paragraphs outline some of the important considerations for each of the phases of the application. 

In DC-DC converters, we can somewhat slow the turn-on of Fets if we insert a small resistor (10 to 20Q. typically) in series with the decoupling capacitor of their respective driver stages. For example, a small resistor can be placed in series with the bootstrap capacitor of the third-generation switcher family I used to cover. That helped with almost 10 to 20% of customers, but somehow this trick didn t find its way into the applications information section of their datasheet. If the Fets are external, we can try a small resistor in series with the Gate, but this affects both the turn-on and turnoff (with such low threshold voltages, a diode in parallel to the resistor will not do anything). 

The coloristic qualities of a pigment and of its color are not evaluated in the as-delivered condition but always after it has been processed in a way corresponding to the application. Information gained for one application cannot, however, be directly extended to other application processes. 

Form 356h is a harmonized form, and a Sponsor can use it for NDA, BLA, and Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA, see Section 8.2.5). Page 1 of the form requires Applicant Information, Product Description, Application Information, and Establishment Information. Page 2 requires the provision of a number of items to substantiate the application. The items to be submitted under Form 356h are as follows ...

Requirements for product development are determined and records are maintained, including functional and performance requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, where applicable, information derived from previous similar designs, and other requirements essential for design and development. 

The guidance specifies the application information that should be provided to the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) to ensure continuing product quality and performance chacteristics of the sernisolid topical formulation for specified changes. Pilot Studies. Applications requiring the reduction of VOC emissions have increased dramatically. On-site pilot tests are beneficial in providing useful information regarding VOC emission reduction applications. Information that can be obtained includes optimum catalyst operating conditions, the presence of contaminants in the gas stream, and the effects of these contaminants (see Pilotplants and microplants). 

Describe the test equipment required to carry out the calibration test, including its name, model number, asset number (as applicable), range and accuracy, and any other applicable information.
