The Encyclopedia of NMR includes 13 articles under titles beginning with the word Relaxation and several other related articles, including Nuclear Overhauser Effect," Carbon-13 Relaxation Measurements,100 Paramagnetic Relaxation in Solution,101 Brownian Motion,102 and Spin—Rotation Relaxation Theory.103 Many of these articles are based on density matrix formulations, which can readily be understood with the background provided in Chapter 11.

A relevant citation not only provides the needed content, that is, data and information, it also contains clues to find other relevant citations. The author(s) may have published other relevant articles that can be found with an author search. Future authors publishing on this same topic may have cited this article in their own publication. Science Citation Index provides cited reference searching. The citation can be used as a Rosetta stone to determine the appropriate index term(s) for each bibliographical database searched. Some databases now offer a search command, find related articles, that automates this process. 

Here, some recent studies of the electrochemical and photo-electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide as well as some other related subjects will be reviewed and discussed. Attention is focused especially on the work done in the last ten years, to avoid duplication of previous review articles.2,4... 

Finally, since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (or so they tell us), we are pleased to see that others have also taken the route of printing longer tutorial discussions in the form of a series of related articles on a given topic. One of the quickest and most comprehensive ways to find academic studies in both English and other languages is to use PubMed, maintained by the National Library of Medicine.5 The advantage of PubMed over previously mentioned sources is that it covers a greater number of domestic and foreign references. It is also free to use. If the publisher has a Web site that offers full text of its journals, PubMed will provide links to that site, as well as to sites offering other related data. User registration, a subscription fee, or some other type of fee may be required to access the full text of articles in some journals. 

The reactivity of pentatomic aromatic heterocycles that are not furan toward carbonyl compounds to give the corresponding oxetanes was the object of other review articles [89]. These compounds show lower reactivity than furan. The reason for this behavior is not clear. It could be related to the different aromaticity of these compounds in comparison with that of furan or, as reported below, to the quenching properties of the heterocycles. 

The other justification of the extension of the scope of this article to tetracoordinate Si+ intermediates is the notable interest in the nucleophilic activation to substitution at the silicon atom, which is closely related to the tetrahedral Si+ intermediacy problem. Little attention has been paid so far to this aspect of organosilicon chemistry in other review articles. This discussion does not include, however, the vast area of tetrahedral Si+ intermediates in reactions catalyzed by protic acids thus, the protic cations, i.e., those having acidic hydrogen, are in principle excluded.

(1984). The scope of these articles is not, however, limited to numerical techniques they also provide general reviews of the statistical mechanics of colloidal suspensions. 

When it comes to Confidential Business Information (CBI), REACH (Tide XII) contains several provisions granting rights to companies, including protection of information regarding the full composition of preparations, the precise use and tonnage of substances and links between companies (Article 118).20 On the other hand, Article 119 explicitly lists information that shall be made publicly available by electronic means, for instance names and classifications of substances and safety-related data, unless the submitter can justify not doing so. In the following, the synthesis and conformational properties of cyclic peptides, the interaction with low-molecular-weight compounds, and the catalytic activity of cyclic peptides will be treated in relation to the structure. Several aspects of cyclic peptides as models for biopolymers will be described through the author s recent experimental results. Therefore, emphasis will be placed on the experimental investigations abchit the behavior of cyclic peptides in solution. This article will not cover all of the cyclic peptides so far synthesized and investigated, for which the reader is requested to see other review articles 5-8). Naturally occurring cyclic peptides will be referred to only when relevent and necessary.
