Information concise summary

Some companies do not allow the use of this sheet in their work primarily because of the confidential nature of some of the.process data. Wliere it is used, it presents a concise summary of the complete process and key mechanical data for assembly. This type of sheet requires more time for complete preparation, but like all engineering developments preliminary issues are made as information is available. Often the sheet is not complete until the piping and other detailed drawings are finished. This then is an excellent record of the process as well as a work sheet for training operators of the plant. [Pg.5]

In order to provide useful information to support the threat evaluation process and the development of an analytical approach, the findings of the site characterization should be summarized in a report. This report is not intended to be a formal document, but simply a concise summary of information from the site activities that can be quickly assembled within an hour or two. The recommended content of the report includes... [Pg.114]

Patient information sheet Concise summary in plain language of the most important information about a particular drug. Includes an Alert when appropriate to communicate an important, and often emerging, drug safety issue Patients and/or consumers, lay caregivers, and interested members of the general public... [Pg.230]

Healthcare professional sheet Concise summary of an important, and often emerging, drug safety issue, with background information about the detection of the issue and points to consider for clinical decision making Healthcare professionals... [Pg.231]

N/ Groundwater, drinking water, or porewaters Abundant literature exists on arsenic contamination problems in some countries (e.g. Bangladesh). In such cases, the tables in this appendix simply list a few of the more recent key references, which provide overall and concise summaries of the problems. For other regions and countries (e.g. Laos), arsenic contamination has been identified as a significant problem, but further details are not readily available. In these situations, the reference(s) with the limited information is listed. No public information is readily available on arsenic contamination in North Korea, many of the republics of the former Soviet Union, and... [Pg.495]

Major components of the TSD are (1) a summary section that includes a concise summary of toxicity information on the chemical, rationales used for time scaling and selection of uncertainty factors, and a table of AEGL values for the three tiers as well as key references (2) a detailed discussion of the items listed in 1 and (3) a derivation summary table that includes a list and discussion of the key data elements and the rationale used to derive the AEGL values. [Pg.147]

Publications and education are important elements of APhA program development. New product bulletins and special reports are aimed at equipping practitioners with timely and unbiased information for their practice. APhA periodical publications include Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association, Pharmacy Today, Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Student, and Drug-Info Line, the newest monthly newsletter which provides concise summaries of key pharmacotherapeutic issues. [Pg.52]

Summary of Site Information. The case description section of Risk Assistant provides a sufficient level of descriptive detail to enable a user to form a clear conceptual model of the site and to present relevant information concisely. It also enables a summary evaluation of the adequacy of the data base on a site. [Pg.195]

The profiling of drug compounds as to their physical and analytical characteristics has been the focus of the preceding twenty volumes in the Analytical Profiles series, and the need for this information is as important today as it was when the series was first initiated. The compilation of concise summaries of physical and chemical data, analytical methods, routes of compound preparation, degradation pathways, and the like, is a vital function to both academia and industry. Under the editorship of Klaus Florey, the Analytical Profiles has met this need over its twenty year history. [Pg.706]

Here it is worthwhile to present a concise summary of the advantages and disadvantages of the various electron-nuclear resonance techniques and Table 1 contains this information. [Pg.326]

The information in this LCSS has been compiled by a committee of the National Research Council from literature sources and Material Safety Data Sheets and is believed to be accurate as of July 1994. This summary is intended for use by trained laboratory personnel in conjunction with the NRC report Prudent Practices in the Laboratory Handling and Disposal of Chemicals. This LCSS presents a concise summary of safety information that should be adequate for most laboratory uses of the title substance, but in some cases it may be advisable to consult more comprehensive references. This information should not be used as a guide to the nonlaboratory use of this chemical. [Pg.238]

The following rules and formula cannot be complete, but they provide a concise summary of all relevant information in this chapter and they can be used for a repetition as well as a general reference work. [Pg.137]

If the format of your report of a workplace survey or inspection remains your choice, it should be well considered, under headings such as those suggested by this chapter. The report should end with a concise summary of findings, clear recommendations for actions to be taken or further investigations, and any proposals for follow-up. The confidentiality of information about individual cases mentioned in the report should be respected at all times. Dispatch of the report may need to be followed by a further meeting between you and interested parties. Your copy should be filed securely but retrievably. [Pg.439]
