The results of this study also produced a Field Evaluation Document (Volume II) and an Annoted Bibliography (Volume III) containing over 500 relevant sources. The Field Evaluation Document was designed for use by contractors and state agencies to establish the relative safety and for identification of potential hazards at the various locations and work elements on a sulfur-asphalt construction project. This article defines the criteria and processes for computer validation. Computer validation applies to all systems, including electronic capture systems in both the laboratory (scientific instrumentation) and field settings. Any system producing electronic records and documents, which regulators in the evaluation of product registration applications will use, needs to be validated.

The system that experienced the failure had been modified within the previous decade. Similar to the PARCC parameters, acceptance criteria are expressed in qualitative and quantitative terms. Some of them are statistically derived values, while others are purely qualitative and represent industry standards and accepted practices. Quantitative parameters (precision, accuracy, and completeness) are evaluated mathematically and compared to numerical acceptance criteria representativeness, which is a qualitative parameter, is established by comparing documented field and laboratory procedures to applicable standards and specifications. Comparability is estimated as the closeness of analytical results obtained at two different laboratories, and is usually expressed qualitatively. In environmental project work, acceptance criteria for the PARCC parameters are documented in the SAP. 

Qualitative and quantitative acceptance criteria for the PARCC parameters are derived in the planning phase. Whether they are specific statistical values or represent accepted standards and practices, they must be always selected based on the project objectives and be appropriate for the intended use of the data. The DQI acceptance criteria are documented in the SAP and serve as standards for evaluating data quality and quantity in the assessment phase of data collection process. The primary DQIs are established through the analysis of field and laboratory QC samples and by adhering to accepted standards for sampling and analysis.

The DQAR may be part of a general report that details all project activities, findings, and conclusions, or be a separate document that becomes part of the permanent project record. Typically, the chemist who conducts DQA prepares the DQAR. The information needed for the DQAR preparation comprises field records, laboratory data, data evaluation summaries, sample data tabulated according to their use, and results of statistical testing.

Any molecular calculation starts with the evaluation of integrals over the basis functions.
