All input parameters, scenario definitions and results are stored in a database for easy access and retrieval. Analysis of individual scenario results and statistical analysis over all scenarios (or any subset) is possible. Typical individual scenario results are deposition, dosage and casualty level on the attacked target. Typical statistical analysis results are dosage and deposition threat spectra, and casualty spectra. The casualty levels and spectra can be obtained for various health effect levels (eye effect, incapacitation, lethal) and protection levels (no protection, suit only, mask only, mask and suit, collective protection). This model thus largely eliminates the subjectivity involved in scenario studies, protective and detector equipment procurement.

This involves first identifying candidate POCT equipment having the prerequisite analytical and operational capabilities to meet the clinical requirements of a POCT service. These include parameters such as accuracy, precision, TAT, calibration frequency, potential interferants, calibrator... 

It is important to note that conceptual design is responsible for the most part of the investment costs in a process plant, even if its fraction in the project s fees is very limited. An erroneous decision at the conceptual level will propagate throughout the whole chain of the detailed design and equipment procurement. Even much higher costs are necessary later in operation to correct misconceptions in the basic design.

Following this, data collection, acquisition and evaluation procedures planned to use for this project will be summarized. To minimize the effects of voltage distortion on weak AC systems introduced by VFD s applied on hoisting equipment, care should be taken during the specification phases of the VFD s and generation equipment procurement to ensure compatibflity and a trouble-free design. Also, the ratings of harmonic filtering equipment should be verified by a full harmonic study of the system. 

Process plants are configured around process equipment, which is for the most part built to proprietary ( vendor ) designs. The quality and timing of receipt of the vendor drawings, and of information such as structural loadings and electric motor sizes ( vendor data ), are critical to the plant design effort. The provision of adequate and timely vendor information must be a prime objective of equipment procurement procedures, by specification, commercial terms, and by follow-up.
