Management processor

Two projects were awarded under the EECP solicitation. The first one was with WMPI (Waste Management Processors, Inc.) and the other with Texaco Energy Systems LLC. Both projects are aimed at coproducing CTL fuels and electric power from coal and low-cost feedstocks using proprietary iron catalysts. They are to be sited adjacent to existing infrastructures to help reduce the capital costs. Highlights of these two projects are discussed below. [Pg.152]

The building management processor array accepted the coded instruction which the block had datavised, and the elevator doors hissed open. [Pg.86]

I know. But now it seems there s a problem with some of the local management processors."... [Pg.110]

With the power off, there was no way of regaining control through the bitek processors. Every platform would have to be reactivated manually. Which was exactly what Kiera had done. Spacecraft had rendezvoused with the platforms and taken out Rubra s bitek management processors, replacing them with electronic processors and new fire authority codes. [Pg.348]

Zone conduit based integrated architecture. CMP, certified management processor DM2, demilitarized zone HMI, human—machine interface MIS, management information system PU, processing unit SIS, safety instrumentation system. [Pg.864]

Computer System. The brain of the modern clinical chemistry analyzer is its computer system. The part of the computer system that controls the functional aspects of the analyzer is known as the process control computer or analytical processor (AP) the test results are handled by the data management computer, also known as the results processor (RP). [Pg.398]

The results processor computes the test results from the raw data furnished by the AP and coUates these results together with the demographic patient data into test reports. Test results falling outside normal limits are flagged on the report to speed up the diagnosis process. These data managers can also store thousands of patient reports in their current memory. Some of the more sophisticated systems also store the actual reaction curves used to determine the test results. [Pg.398]

Producer responsibility obligations 1997 - guidance on evidence of compliance and accreditation of re-processors A new waste management licensing system - what it means - how it affects you... [Pg.586]

Heat rejection is only one aspect of thermal management. Thermal integration is vital for optimizing fuel cell system efficiency, cost, volume and weight. Other critical tasks, depending on the fuel cell, are water recovery (from fuel cell stack to fuel processor) and freeze-thaw management. [Pg.527]

The plant engineer and his maintenance manager will establish whoever carries out the work, basic strategy, programming and procedures. Inspection checklists and record sheets are necessary for systematic location of critical elements/potential defects and setting out frequencies of inspection. Computers and work processors are an obvious aid to effective maintenance management. Inspection-based preventive methods are demonstrably cost effective. [Pg.57]

The spread of technology at pharmaceutical companies also meant that secretaries were given word processors (such as the Wang machines) to use in addition to typewriters, which were still needed for filling out forms. Keyboarding was the domain of the secretaries, the data entry technicians, and the computational chemists. Only a few managers and scientists would type their own memos and articles. [Pg.12]

Exogenous enzymes are used to produce fruit juices more easily during different stages of the process i.e. maceration, liquefaction or juice depectinisation These biochemical tools induce specific degradations that the processor can integrate into his process line to manage and valorize the fruits transformation into juice. [Pg.461]

For a long time there has been private, in-house quality research, especially in the biodynamic sector and by some larger organic traders and processors. These vary from crystallisation techniques to broad screen residue analyses of raw materials. These in-house quality management schemes are not standard they depend on how seriously the companies take their responsibility towards their clients and/or want to avoid surprises by the food authorities. [Pg.48]

Major steps included, for example, plant production, transport, processing and retail. Each major step was subdivided into activities called substeps , which were defined in common categories. For example, the major step transport from processor to retailer could contain substeps in the following categories certification/inspection management labour packaging/labelling equipment pest control contact to supplier/customer. [Pg.500]

Smoke abatement from the thermal reduction batch processor (TRBP) smoking rooms and the measurement and management of carbon monoxide and other products of incomplete combustion generated in these rooms. (These processes were not adequately addressed in the EDP.)... [Pg.32]

ChemKit, which offers environmental, technical consulting, is part of the environmental consulting industry. Environmental consulting providers include technical consultancies (e.g., civil engineers, technical consultancies, laboratories), management consultancies (e.g., management consultants, data processors, tax advisors, PR consultants, market researchers) and interdisciplinary environmental consultants. [Pg.189]

If using Microsoft Word (or another popular word processor) to create your resume, ACT 2000, one of the best contact management and scheduling software packages on the market, can also be used to make your whole job search easier. [Pg.153]
