In July 1973, the following seven universities were awarded grants by the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (LEAA) of the Department of Justice to develop and strengthen their research activities and criminal justice graduate programs. [Pg.29]

The goal of the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (LEAA) is to reduce crime and delinquency while continually improving the quality of criminal justice.
