Issues to Be Resolved

Although the shaped nanocrystals have shown a high potential for the enhancement of catalytic activity, selectivity, and long-term stability, there are several issues that need to be resolved to expand their use to practical applications. The shaped nanocrystals are typically too large to effectively utilize expensive precious metals. The stability of the shaped nanocrystals should be carefully evaluated. The shape is often deformed too easily, especially at high temperatures where many practical gas-phase reactions occur. Shaped nanoparticles should also operate stably for long periods of time. Mass production of shaped nanocrystals is another important issue to be addressed properly. Indeed, much work on shaped nanoparticles is still needed to fundamentally understand their catalytic reactions and develop practical catalysts with better catalytic properties. 

The size of the shaped nanocrystals is usually large. Those larger than 100 nm are often observed for shaped Au or Ag nanocrystals. In the case of Pt, shaped nanocrystals are usually observed in the range of 5-10 nm. However, the typical size of

Conclusions. Briefly summarize the overall development process. The prognosis of SLE has much improved during recent decades. The overall 10-year survival rate in retrospective series is 75-85% (Ul). There are several issues to be resolved in the design of a cooling coil regarding the physical layout of the coil in the vessel. The diameter of the pipe used to make the coil must be specified. In addition, the diameter of the spiral loop and the spacing between the loops must be specified. Should one coil be used, or should several coils be installed in parallel ... 

Action letter An official communication from the FDA to an NDA sponsor that informs of a decision by the agency. An approval letter allows commercial marketing of the product. Adsorptive Processes. Zealand, was established in 1983 and is the trading name of the New Zealand Biological Producers and Consumers Council Inc. Bio-Gro services organic production systems and its key functions include setting of standards, inspection and certification, promotion of the Bio-Gro trademark and promotion of research and development. To better service the massive growth experienced in the last 2 years, Bio-Gro recently subcontracted inspection services to SGS International. This has necessitated a steep rise in fees for licensees. In 1999 Bio-Gro gained IFOAM certification which has helped facilitate market access into Europe though there are still some issues to be resolved (see section 13.2.5).
