Internet resource sites

Computation proteome annotation is the process of proteome database mining, which includes structure/fold prediction and functionality assignment. Methodologies of secondary structure prediction and problems of protein folding are discussed. Approaches to identify functional sites are presented. Protein structure databases are surveyed. Secondary structure predictions and pattern/fold recognition of proteins using the Internet resources are described. 

Many literature sources document closed-form algebraic expressions for view factors. Particularly comprehensive references include the compendia by Modest (op. cit., App. D) and Siegel and Howell (op. cit., App. C). The appendices for both of these textbooks also provide a wealth of resource information for radiative transfer. Appendix F of Modest, e.g., references an extensive listing of Fortan computer codes for a variety of radiation calculations which include view factors. These codes are archived in the dedicated Internet web site maintained by the ublisher. The textbook by Siegel and Howell also includes an extensive atabase of view factors archived on a CD-ROM and includes a reference to an author-maintained Internet web site. Other historical sources for view factors include Hottel and Sarofim (op. cit., Chap. 2) and Hamilton and Morgan (NACA-TN 2836, December 1952). 

A growing number of printed journals provide their contents online. Sometimes, this is for free—e.g., the Pharmaceutical Journal (http //www.pharmj.eom) of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. But more often than not a subscription is needed. For details of other online pharmacy journals try the Virtual Pharmacy Library, PharmWeb (more information on these is given below in section, Internet Resources ), and the Free Medical Journals site (http //www.freemedicaljournals.com). Some journals will provide additional information online to their printed versions. Nature s Web site (http //www. nature.com) contains auxiliary data from authors, a link to a grant database and the opportunity to take part in online discussions. 

I have listed solar cell suppliers in the resources section, but you can also call major solar cell manufacturers. Request their prices for cosmetically flawed and off spec cells, and find out what their minimum order is. Popular internet auction sites can also be a possible source for cells, although I recommend these with caution. Take your time, shop around, compare prices, and consider customer service. 

Research the Internet and write a one page report on how the OSHA standard for process safety management came to be, describing who dates, names, places, etc. List the resources (sites visited) from which you obtained your information.

LIMS as rented service— The application service provision provider (ASP) is a means of obtaining access to software applications without the need to acquire expensive licenses and hardware or employ high-cost support resources [7]. The application is hosted on a third-party site with system maintenance, backup, and recovery provided by a third party. Products and services can be rented for a contract period on a fixed cost per user/per month basis. The advantages of obtaining LIMS in this fashion include reduced cost in initial investment and reduced requirement of resources for maintaining the LIMS. The continued security and integrity of the data transferred over the Internet is a major concern for this type of LIMS.
