These low foaming formulations may be used for metal cleaners hard surface cleaners and other spray applications or high speed processes where low foaming is required.

The highly acidic and alkaline formulations will need to be avoided due to SME s tendency to hydrolyze in extreme conditions. Formulations that contain high amounts of surfactant where high foam is desirable are also good candidate formulations for SMEs.
