Environmental influences economic factors

Conventional livestock production systems can be very diverse and this diversity is influenced by economic, geographic, environmental and cultural factors. Conventional inputs for direct use in ruminant production include many types of plant feeds (i.e. forages, cereals, soybeans, etc.), industrial by-products (i.e. molasses, distiller s dried grain, meat bone meal, etc.), feed...

During the collection or harvesting phase, skilled labor can be an important factor that influences quality of the harvest of wild plants. Deliberate adulteration most frequently occurs with expensive natural substances or natural substances in short supply. Mechanical devices may be more economical in the collection of some plants but may be of little use when only particular parts of another plant are desired. Cultivated plants ensure a more reliable source of the desired plant with less risk of substitution. Environmental conditions (temperature, rainfall, day length and sunlight, altitude, atmosphere, and soil) can dramatically affect quality, concentration, and presence of active constituents in plants. The age of the plant can also be an important determinant of the quality of active constituents in a crude drug. 

Environmental consciousness. It is a modem material that emphasizes sustainability, its low energy demand during manufaeture and its carbon storage capacity and eventually it can be recycled. While aesthetic and economic considerations are major factors influencing material selection, these environmental advantages increasingly influence material selection. 

The physical construction of an indnction motor is greatly influenced by the enviromnent and ambient conditions. The environmental conditions include considerations for explosion, corrosion, dampness, ingress of dnst and solid particles, proximity to human operators, cost and economics. Ambient conditions relate to snrface temperatnre, methods of cooling, fan design and appropriate derating factors. 

Decision-makers also influence market share. Even if a new technology is somewhat more expensive than the alternative, some fraction of purchasers will choose it, perhaps because of environmental or "energy independence" considerations. Alternatively, some fraction of purchasers will continue to use their familiar fuel source even if economic considerations dictate a change to a new one. Imperfect price information also affects the market share curve. These various factors are aggregated into the one market share parameter. In a perfect market with high price elasticity and none of these real world effects, y would be infinite, and the product with even a very slight economic advantage would obtain a 100 percent steady-state market share. 

The driving force for the introduction of new processes are economic considerations, which are largely influenced by the production costs of the product and product quality. The optimal exploitation of raw materials, energy saving, and the environmental friendliness of processes will still take presidence in futnre. Selectivity is becoming more and more the decisive factor in industrial processes, mainly as a result of increasing purity demands, for example, in polymer chemistry and in the pharmaceutical sector. Higher selectivity means that better use is made of raw materials and therefore lower formation of side products, which must be removed in expensive separation processes or pollute the environment.
