Various chromatographic techniques may be utilized to purify urokinase further. Commonly employed methods include anion-exchange (DEAE-based) chromatography, gel filtration on Sephadex G-100 and chromatography on hydroxyapatite columns. Urokinase is a relatively stable molecule.
