Note that the separate input sections are separated from one another by blank lines. These blank lines are inserted automatically into input files created with the Job Entry window in the Windows version and need not be entered by the user. If you choose to create a Gaussian input file using an external Windows editor, however, you must follow the same rules for input as under other versions of Gaussian. 

PPDS (Physical Property Data Service) was originally developed in the United Kingdom by the Institution of Chemical Engineers and the National Physical Laboratory. It is now available as a Microsoft Windows version from NEL, a division of the TUV Sudde-untschland Group (www.nel.uk). PPDS is made available to universities at a discount. 

Chiron provides a microwell plate heater, a luminometer, and data management software. Since both versions of the programs are practically identical in their handling, the information in this manual is valid for both the Macintosh and Windows versions.
