The reference citation for a journal article should include the name(s) of the author(s) the name of the journal the month, day, and year of publication volume and issue numbers and inclusive page numbers for the article. 

Begin with the author s name if no author is given, begin with the title of the article. Continue with the name of the periodical (underlined), volume and issue number (if given), date of publication, the number range or total number of pages or paragraphs (if available), date of access, and network address.

I m sure you ve read or heard about the analyst firms listed above. During the all-night party of Internet stocks, when online brokerages would consistently experience ever-higher trading volumes and issue ambitious press releases, the above-mentioned research firms would produce a stream of reports on the state of the online financial services industry. The reports would make wild predictions for daily trades, market size, new products, demographic profiles, and technology adoption. 

Gas purification processes fall into three categories the removal of gaseous impurities, the removal of particulate impurities, and ultrafine cleaning. The extra expense of the last process is only justified by the nature of the subsequent operations or the need to produce a pure gas stream. So much information concerning alkaloids has been published since the third edition of this book was issued in 1939, that the preparation of a new edition has involved re-writing a large part of the volume and adding considerably to its bulk.

Many synthetic water-soluble polymers are easily analyzed by GPC. These include polyacrylamide,130 sodium poly(styrenesulfonate),131 and poly (2-vinyl pyridine).132 An important issue in aqueous GPC of synthetic polymers is the effect of solvent conditions on hydrodynamic volume and therefore retention. Ion inclusion and ion exclusion effects may also be important. In one interesting case, samples of polyacrylamide in which the amide side chain was partially hydrolyzed to generate a random copolymer of acrylic acid and acrylamide exhibited pH-dependent GPC fractionation.130 At a pH so low that the side chain would be expected to be protonated, hydrolyzed samples eluted later than untreated samples, perhaps suggesting intramolecular hydrogen bonding. At neutral pH, the hydrolyzed samples eluted earlier than untreated samples, an effect that was ascribed to enlargement... 

It has been approximately 5 years since the European law on chemicals REACH came into force. It was implemented to audit the risks of all chemicals on the market by their sales volume and hazardousness. The essential aim of this security check is to determine so-called exposure scenarios, which facilitates the assessment of the occurrence of unacceptable or dangerous exposure created by the evaluated chemical. If these risks are identified, measures are to be taken to reduce the exposure by restrictions on usage or by issuing a ban. 

Pre-crystalline order in PET has been investigated by a number of different groups and in the present volume the issue is reviewed under different perspectives in two other contributions [25,26]. Nodular structures measuring ca. 7.5 nm and ca 15 nm apart in PET quenched from the melt close to Tg were first described by Geil [27,28]. Such structures are essentially amorphous, albeit characterized by some degree of orientational order and by a significantly higher density as compared to the fully isotropic polymer.
