States of emergency

An old chemical dump in Niagara Falls, New York, near Love Canal, began leaking into the environment. A state of emergency and an evacuation of the neighboring area resulted. This episode helped approve the 1980 Superfund law. In 1994, OxyChem agreed to pay New York 98 million. 

It is now March, typically a cool and sunny time in the valley, but it has been raining for the past month. Many counties in Northern California have been declared to be in a state of emergency because of flooding. As I look out my window wondering if I should skip my daily trip to the pool and swim home instead, I hear a knock at the door. Rebecca, my hardworking and creative assistant, walks in. She takes a look out the window and says, Isn t California supposed to be a sunny state I mean when my roommate convinced me to move here she told me it would be sunnier and warmer than Wisconsin. In 1975 and 1976 the state of emergency that existed in India slowed down or postponed many of the. plans outlined above. The planned research and expenditures have been extended to the end of the sixth 5-yr plan.

So now you re off on a mission to locate the compound where the secret plans to instigate a national state of emergency are hidden. This compound is the base from which the entire conspiracy is organized.

There were organizational problems within TEPCO.
