When no high accuracy alignment is needed and low pressure is used in UV-NIL, the mechanical properties of the mold can be relaxed. Then, mold copies can also be obtained by replicating elastomeric materials like Poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS), which is a soft UV-transparent material in the 340-600 nm wavelength region [111, 112]. Finally, the ultimate stamp copy process was presented by Obducat with the Intermediate Polymer Stamp [113]. Here, the polymer stamp is used only once, avoiding any mold contamination or erosion issues. [Pg.23]

Also, electronic SOPs and protocols must be available to staff at all test sites for multisite studies. If the electronic documents are to be available at several sites, the validation phase of the system must include functionality testing at each site. Documentation of system validation needs to be available at each test site as well. Electronic SOPs must have a limited life span when printed to avoid the use of an outdated document. This may be achieved by stamping each SOP hard copy Printout not valid after date xx/xx/xx . This practice helps to ensure that system users will not retain printed SOPs long after the electronic SOP is revised. For company SOPs that are to be followed by an outside contractor who has no access to the electronic system, an alternative stamp may be used on the hard-copy SOPs that will be provided to the contractor that defines the date printed or indicates that the SOP is valid for use in a particular study. Whatever procedure is used, it must be clearly documented in an SOP. [Pg.1032]

Injection molding is employed to stamp out copies of the master discs from polycarbonate. The molded polycarbonate discs are cooled and hardened quickly, within about 4—6 sec, and evenly. The dye layer is then applied. The applied dyes are often proprietary and continually modified in an attempt to get a better dye. The dye must be compatible with the system and adhere to the polycarbonate base. It is applied by spin coating i.e., the disc is spun and the dye is sprayed onto the surface. The dye is then dried and cured. [Pg.103]

The quality manual is reviewed and revised at least once a year. The master quality manual is kept with the ISO 9000 coordinator. The distribution copies are stamped with a copy number The recipients acknowledge the receipt and replacement. [Pg.309]

Replica Moulding. A PDMS stamp is cast against a conventionally patterned master. Polyurethane is then moulded against the secondary PDMS master. In this way, multiple copies can be made without damaging the original master. [Pg.939]

Identify management and personnel to be included in the audit report circulation list. It is a good idea to limit the number of copies distributed as well as track the copies in circulation. All audit reports should be stamped confidential and for internal use only. ... [Pg.448]

Applicants must submit two copies of the BLA to CBER (most likely the CBER division will ask for additional copies). The copies may be hand delivered or mailed. If the applicant hand delivers the BLA, the sponsor should bring an extra copy of the cover letter with the shipment so that the letter may be date-stamped upon delivery to the PDA s Document Control Center. This letter provides evidence that the document was submitted to the FDA. If forwarded by standard mail service, the BLA shipment should include a letter of instructions with a document stating that the BLA submission has been received by the FDA. The FDA document control person will sign the document, place... [Pg.186]

Provision of an EU certificate (European Union Certificate for Importing Products from Organic Production see Fig. 3.1). Each consignment of an organic product must be accompanied by the completed EU certificate as issued by the control body and/or the certification bodies. The original must be supplied by the overseas exporter and be kept on file. A photocopy or fax is not acceptable. Copies may be provided to interested parties such as certification bodies or customers on request, but these should be clearly stamped as being a copy. [Pg.58]

There were no automatic computer generated time-stamped audit trails to ensure authen-tieity and integrity of analytical data that was acquired and processed with the CDS. Analyst s transactions were not documented to show whether the analytical data were modified, copied, or deleted. [Pg.475]

Once the corrected copies are received, the data manager makes the change in the clinical database. An electronic audit trail is maintained in the clinical database of all data entered and changed. This audit trail tracks the date and time stamp and the identification of the person making the entry correction or change. [Pg.556]

You can transfer the sprite pattern into any string or copy a sprite pattern from a string into any sprite. In combination with SSHAPE and GSHAPE, you can "pick up" a block of the screen and turn it into a sprite, and "stamp" the sprite pattern an)rwhere on the graphics screen. [Pg.11]

Use Alkyd resins, dynamite, ester gums, pharmaceuticals, perfumery, plasticizer for regenerated cellulose, cosmetics, foodstuffs, conditioning tobacco, liquors, solvent, printer s ink rolls, polyurethane polyols, emulsifying agent, rubber stamp and copying inks, binder for cements and mixes, special soaps, lubricant and softener, bacteriostat, penetrant, hydraulic fluid, humectant, fermentation nutrients, antifreeze mixtures. [Pg.612]

Only official copies of SOPs shall be controlled. SOPs not having a red stamp will be considered non-official and uncontrolled SOPs. [Pg.288]

User-independent computer-generated time-stamped audit trails. Procedures should be available to use secure, computer-generated, time-stamped audit trails to independently record the date and time of operator entries and actions that create, modify, or delete electronic records. Record changes shall not obscure previously recorded information. Such audit trail documentation shall be retained for a period at least as long as that required for the subject electronic records and shall be available for agency review and copying. [Pg.235]

Helpful is also information on the reasons for the revision, if any has been performed and the archived copy of an SOP which has been superseded by a revised version should be stamped with the expiry date (for an illustrative example, see figure 32). [Pg.244]

Master copy production Your CDs are stamped from a master copy called a stamper master. But how is this stamper made The musical data are first transferred onto a glass disc using a high-powered laser that etches small pits in the glass as shown here. This glass master copy then contains all of the musical information in binary data form. [Pg.594]

Stamping characteristics Each nickel stamper master can make about 20 000 copies before it wears out. At this point, the nickel stamper can be recycled into an aqueous nickel solution and used to make more nickel stampers. A hit CD may go through as many as 50 nickel stampers plated onto the mother disc. CD-ROMs for your computer are made in the same way. [Pg.594]
