Future Implications

The therapeutic potential of flavonoids has been investigated in various animal and human models. Their role in preventing inflammation, carcinogenesis, and cardiovascular diseases has been established. They have been reported to have antiangiogenic, antimetastatic, cardioprotective effects. A large clinical study reported that flavonoids may decrease mortality due to coronary heart disease [1]. All these studies are promising and indicate that flavonoids can be essential food compounds. However, most of the research conducted so far involves in vitro studies therefoie, it is difficult to draw definite conclusions about the usefulness of flavonoids in the diet. 

Current studies on flavonoids are complicated mainly due to the variability in dilFerent molecular stmctures and the lack of data on their bioavailability. Moreover, the experimental methodology to measure in vivo oxidative damage and the objective endpoints remains to be optimized. Advancement and improvement of analytical techniques would allow compilation of more data on absorption and excretion. Furthermore, the current data on long term consequences of chronic flavonoid ingestion are especially limited. In conclusion, in vivo studies conducted so far provides promising insights on the potential application of flavanoids. However, eflforts are still required to further explore the effective role and consequent effects of flavonoids specifically in in vivo studies and clinical trials.

The APQP manual does include mandatory requirements by use of the words shall, will, and must as well as an advisory approach indicated by the word should. However, use of the word will is not consistent since in some cases it has a future implication such as There will be assumptions. .. Other styles are also used, such as is responsible and while many of the provisions are advisory, the lists of inputs and outputs, having no preceding instruction, are neither mandatory nor advisory so you should consult your... 

Although the pharmacist may only infrequently have contact with this particular dosage form, there has been a movement to give some feed additive drugs veterinary prescription status, which has been done in several European countries. This may have future implications to those pharmacists practicing in rural areas.

One of the basic problems confronting molecular composites is the difficulty of finding miscible combinations of rigid rod polymers with flexible chain polymers. Poly(p-phenylene benzobisthiazole)/poly(-2,5(6)-benzimidazole block copolymers have been reported by Tsai et al. [1985] and are noted to exhibit better processability and mechanical properties than the simple blends of the block copolymer constituents. Chang and Lee [1993] prepared poly(p-benzamide)/Pl block copolymers and reported on the liquid crystalline behavior. Such approaches would appear to have future implications. As an example PA e.g., PA-66) block copolymers with rigid rod polyamides could be prepared and used in blends with PA-66 to yield the desired molecular composite.
