Mandatory Requirements

Another early step in designing a hazard communication system is to identify all of the mandatory requirements related to your product by federal, state and local authorities (and, of course, applicable international requirements) since those requirements will establish your minimum obligations. At the federal level, the following sources should be reviewed to determine their applicability to your products.
