Evaluation of the Program

Establishment of a uniform reporting system and regular review of reports. 

Review of reports and minutes of safety and security committees. 

Analyses of trends and rates in illness, injury, or incident reports.

Evaluation of the program. The main point to note with regard to this topic is that evaluation was taken very seriously across the schemes. Thus, it was carried out (or there were plans to carry it out) in virtually all cases, and if the results showed that certain aspects needed to be improved, this was typically done. This is great news, since the purpose of evaluation is, in a nutshell, just that continuous improvement for success. 

The 138 submitted papers were selected in the following marmer. From a total of 521 submitted two-page abstracts, 156 were identified by peer review and evaluation of the Program Committee to be expanded into 10-page (maximum) camera-ready manuscripts. Submitted manuscripts were then peer-reviewed by at least two experts in the field according to standards comparable to those used for archival journals. Diversity in country origin was also considered, and an attempt was made to minimize multiple publications for individual research groups. Consequently, the 138 papers included herein should be considered as peer-reviewed publications that represent the worldwide state-of-the-art in catalysis research. 

Regular evaluations of the program are necessary to ensure that it meets its objectives. 

The employer will ensure that an annual inspection/evaluation of the program is conducted to determine the continued effectiveness of the program. The RPA will make frequent inspections of all areas where respirators are used to ensure compliance with the respiratory protection requirements. 

The next level of evaluation for web-based courses is the overall evaluation of the program. Benchmarking the abilities of students that have completed web-based instruction against students that have completed the same course in a traditional approach is an example of how this type of evaluation maybe accomplished. 

The staff s evaluation of the program elements addressing Restart Criterion 1 included a review of (1) Chapter 13 of the Safety Analysis Report (SAR), "Conduct of Operations" (2) WSRC Technical Specifications (TS), Category 5 (5.0, "Administrative Controls") and the Reactor Engineering Department (RED) draft of procedure RP 5.1101, "Conduct of Reactor Engineering Activities."... 

The sharps log is reviewed at least annually as part of the annual evaluation of the program and is maintained for at least five years following the end of the calendar year covered.
