Custody services

Municipal social services are the local authority in each of Sweden s 290 municipalities. They are mainly responsible for social work services (e.g. child custody services, substance abuse services, mental health services) but they are also responsible for social assistance, which is the financial benefit scheme for those not entitled to support from other social security systems. Social assistance is considered the last form of financial support in Sweden. 

Custodial services are often performed by a third party to the deal. This is partly through necessity as in most cases, the deal participants do not have custodial capabilities. Additionally the third party involvement reinforces the off-balance sheet nature of the deal for the originator and clearly defines those assets associated with the particular deal. Finally the appointed custodian is generally, although not necessarily, the same entity as the appointed trustee. Hence, there is further protection provided to the investor in a default situation as the trustee effectively has control of the assets. This is a source of comfort for investors. 

Custodial service closets should be provided on every floor and be centrally located to save walking time. 

Medicare does not provide for custodial services (35) so that few LTMV patients covered by Medicare are able to return home. Some private insurers are more generous, providing 8 to 12 hours of skilled nursing care per day. Even then, the family has to assume a large share of the caregiving and financial burden so that management at home is still difficult. 

Contract carriers generally are not held to the same standard of HabiHty as common carriers because they are considered ordinary for-hire bailees and, therefore, are Hable only for their failure to exercise a reasonable degree of care for goods in their custody or possession, although such HabiHty may be varied by the contract. However, motor carriers providing service under contract are held to the same HabiHty standard appHcable to common carriers unless the statutory provisions imposing the standard are waived in the contract. 

Samples should be shipped under chain of custody (as discussed above) using an overnight courier service or freezer truck. Advantages of using freezer trucks are obvious since overnight couriers do not document environmental conditions during shipping as with the freezer truck. 

The importation of data from one electronic data system to another is improving. Some systems import weather data and sample chains of custody, such as shipping conditions, sample handling, etc., into the field raw data package. This allows for simplified reporting and tabulation. Data transmission over the Internet is improving and is already far superior to regular mail and even next-day delivery services. 

XVIII. Upon termination, the employee shall be given custody of his central personnel file. Records remaining with the employer will consist simply of the name and address of the terminated employee and the period of service. Upon termination, an employee shall be delivered a document by the employer defining his residual rights in inventions, patents pending, and possible publications. 

It is known, however, that drugs are readily available in many prisons, and the rate of adverse incidents and the time and effort spent in detecting smuggling of drugs in has been enough to persuade some authorities that at least the basics of treatment should be available. The most routine option has become to provide a detoxification for opiate misusers, with for instance lofexidine or dihydrocodeine, and also benzodiazepines will often be issued if there is a history of abuse of these and it is intended to avoid the possibility of fits with a short withdrawal course. The adverse incidents in custody and prisons have included some deaths in users of crack cocaine, with physical explanations postulated but no very satisfactory treatment for cocaine withdrawal indicated. Prison services have typically been wary of methadone, and in favouring lofexidine use it was encouraging that a randomized double-blind trial carried out by prison specialists found lofexidine to be as effective as methadone in relief of withdrawal symptoms (Howells et al. 2002).

Law enforcement laboratories around the world routinely use DNA fingerprints to link suspects to crime-scene biological evidence such as blood, semen, or hair. DNA fingerprints used to establish paternity in custody and child-support litigations provide nearly perfect accuracy in parental identification. The U.S. armed services have switched from dog tags and dental records to DNA fingerprint records as a means to identify all personnel, including those killed in combat. 

Custodial and maintenance staff who service the laboratory continue to be governed by other OSHA standards, particularly the Hazard Communication Standard, which sets forth the information, training, and health and safety protections required to be provided to nonlaboratory employees. 

Laboratory analysis As required by FMCSA regulations, only a laboratory certified by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHSS) to perform urinalysis for the presence of controlled substances will be retained by The Company. The laboratory will be required to maintain strict compliance with federally approved chain-of-custody procedures, quality control, maintenance, and scientific analytical methodologies.

For some volumes there are no equivalent comprehensive surveys available in English. Thus, a valuable service has been fulfilled to workers in the fields of process design, equipment development, custody transfer, and safety. 

If an employee leaves the collection facility prior to the testing process being completed, the collector must inform the employer as required under 40.191 (d). The employer, as required under 40.355(i), must then determine whether the employee s actions constitute a refusal to test. To make this determination, the employer should consider the infomnation documented on the Chain of Custody Form (CCF) and the advice and information received from the collector and service agents, as well as any supporting information provided by the employee (i.e., in the event of a medical emergency, copies of hospital admission records/EMS records/police records, etc).
