Core processes

A system built around the organization s core processes - see ISO 9000 Quality System Development Handbookby David Hoyle (Butterworth-Heinemann, 1998). 

Servicing is a specified requirement when the contract requires you to service the products provided. If the contract does not require you to service your products or support the servicing of your products by others, then element 4.19 does not apply. On the other hand, if your core process is servicing and your contract is for servicing only then you cannot ignore the other elements of the standard you need to apply all of them that are relevant, but the core of your business is covered by 4.9 on process control. 

G. Wachtershauser formulated his suggestions on the initial metabolic processes on the primeval Earth (as described above) in the form of six postulates and eleven theses (Wachtershauser, 1990b). Laboratory experiments planned to check, and perhaps confirm, these theories have already been attempted. The reductive Krebs cycle (rTCA cycle) has recently been the subject of much discussion. Smith and Morowitz consider that the rTCA cycle is a universal, possibly primordial, core process which could have provided substances for the synthesis of biomolecules on the young Earth (Smith and Morowitz, 2004). 

D-machining techniques of semiconductor materials are amongst the core processes leading to the miniaturized structures (sensors, actuators (e.g. valves, relays, etc.) and passive components (e.g. micro channels)). 

Investigations such as those by Ferry and Carritt (1946) and Hong-Xi et al. (1998) on the dissolution rate of CU2O particles and the hydrolysis of TBT-MMA polymers can be used as inputs to mathematical AF paint models (Kiil et al., 2001). In the past few years, the study performed by Kiil et al. (2001) has encouraged new experimental studies focused on characterising the main processes responsible for the AF sea water behaviour. The core processes to be quantified are (Yebra et al., 2005c) ...

Perform a fact-based diagnosis. Innovation can feel rather elusive, but in reality there is nothing magical about it. The innovation process can be assessed, like every other core process. Typically, core beliefs about sources of innovation in the company would be identified and challenged with facts and industry benchmarks. Equal attention should be given to the... 

The organization needs to understand its core processes and should have a dear idea of what these should look like in detail. 

Redesign core processes (e.g., reduce number of interfaces/hand-overs)... 

Creating a shared understanding of the organizational principles of the new company, dividing up responsibilities along the core processes, and establishing the main performance indicators ... 

The creation of a process to meet FDA requirements is a multidisciplinary activity. Although the Chemical Process Development organization generates the core process, its shaping and implementation to meet the needs of all other parties involved (particularly Regulatory, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Quality Assurance) requires an extraordinary level of collaboration. The principal objective is to produce, and to demonstrate that you have indeed produced, a high-quality API in a well-controlled system of operations. 

This core was presumably required for primitive terran organisms to conduct their fundamental metabolism. A subset of the core processes furnished the building blocks of cellular macromolecules. Many organisms have shed pieces of the universal core as a consequence of adaptation to particular ecological niches in which certain metabolic abilities are dispensable. 

To achieve a catalytic layer on base materials is the core process for DSA-electrode fabrication. To ensure the layer stability, it is important to try to make the layer better adhesion with the base surface. We have tried several methods in the electrode preparation, including pretreatment, pyrolysis technologies, and electrodeposition. Till now, our research revealed that the electrode service life and the behaviors have been influenced by the electrode preparation methods and technological factors. 

Compound selection is a core process of library design, and three main methods can be mentioned. Dissimilarity-based methods select compounds in terms of similar-ity/distance between individuals in chemical space. Clustering methods first group compounds into clusters based on similarity/distance and then choose representative compounds from different clusters. Partitioning methods first create a uniform cell space that subdivides the chemical space, then assign all virtual compounds to the relative cells according to their properties, and finally choose representative compounds from different cells. 

Compensate for changes in feedstock, in properties of the catalyst (if the core process is a catalytic reaction) and unknown dynamic and persistent perturbations. 

Core—the core processes are those that produce product for sale to a customer. For each step in the core process, the critical control points or variables and the acceptable ranges of these variables must be identified. The controls may be done in process by production or off-line in the QC labs. The quality of the core process depends principally on the design of the process and its validation i.e., on its intrinsic capability. 

Supplier—the supplier process is essential for the proper functioning of the core process. The quality of the core process depends to a large degree on the quality of incoming raw and packaging materials. The goal is supplier partnership. The quality of the supplier s own processes directly impacts the quality of your core process. 

The destruction processes for chemical munitions at PCAPP will involve (1) transfer and disassembly of munitions to access the chemical agent and energetic materials, (2) core processes that destroy the agent, and (3) residuals treatment processes that decontaminate the munitions bodies and other materials associated with the munitions. These processes are accomplished in the major steps described in the following sections. The equipment used for projectile disassembly and removal of the agent is the same as that used for the mustard agent munitions at BGCAPP. 

A pharmacometrics enterprise is, intrinsically and by definition, a needs-driven solution-oriented enterprise. Therefore, establishing a pharmacometrics service consists of designing and implementing specific variants of the nine processes enumerated above and the infrastructure required to execute and sustain them.
