Operations core processes

The key process in the HF ab initio calculation of energies and wavefunctions is calculation of the Fock matrix, i.e. of the matrix elements Frs (Section 5.2.3.6.2). The creation of a process to meet FDA requirements is a multidisciplinary activity. What firms who are leaders in the Internet applications are striving to achieve is the transfer of many of their core processes to the Web. This means that firms will need Websites that can support online transactions and can share data with their customers databases and their suppliers database. Past investments in information technology have primarily been focused on improving the internal operations of the firm. The Internet allows increased communication and connection with the outside world. Electronic business allows the benefits of speed and automation of internal processes to be shared with customers and suppliers. The ability to collaborate with others is an additional competitive advantage. 

These last three items are in fact the leadership of the core processes of engineering conceiving, designing, implementing and operating... 

The materials used for most of the low- to moderate-pressure process tooling do not lend themselves well to mechanical removal of cores. Therefore, holes are machined as secondary operations or cores are manually operated, removed, and emplaced by hand. This procedure takes more time than mechanically operated cores. However, since these are not generally high-speed processes, the additional time is not normally a problem.
