Contract requirement

This type of contract requires the operator to pay a fixed amount to the contractor upon completion of the well, while the contractor furnishes all the material and labour and handles the drilling operations independently. The difficulty with this approach Is to ensure that a quality well Is delivered to the company since the drilling contractor will want to drill as quickly and cheaply as possible. The contractor therefore should guarantee an agreed measurable quality standard for each well. The guarantee should specify remedial actions which will be implemented should a substandard well be delivered. 

The quality system developed to meet the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 is likely to be a generic system, not specific to any particular product, project, or contract other than the range of products and services which your organization supplies. By implementing the policies and procedures of the documented quality system, product, project, or contract specific plans, procedures, specifications, etc. are generated. ISO 9001 contains a series of quality system requirements, not product quality requirements. For a given product, project, or contract there will be specific product, project, or contract requirements and it is these requirements to which this clause of the standard refers.

Establish a means for the reviewers to determine whether your organization has the capability to meet the contract requirements. 

Appropriate in this context means appropriate to the nature of the work to be undertaken to meet the contract requirements. It is not mandatory that the staff of design departments are competent in all these skills. However, there is a customer expectation that if possession of one of these skills in a particular case would lead to a more effective design, the supplier should be employing that skill. Failure to do so requires the supplier to show that it would not be appropriate to the particular design. 

Servicing is a specified requirement when the contract requires you to service the products provided. If the contract does not require you to service your products or support the servicing of your products by others, then element 4.19 does not apply. Most futures contracts assume that actual delivery of the commodity can take place to fulfill the contract. However, some futures contracts require cash settlement instead of deliveiy. Buyers need to assure themselves that the representative and the employer can provide all the particular services, facilities, and expertise that may be necessary for the size, type, and complexity of cooling water system under consideration, and also that the vendor has the financial resources relative to the contract requirements.

The benefits of the CLP are numerous the fact that it is a turnkey program with an independent QA oversight provided by the EPA being the most important one. The observance of the CLP analytical protocols as a contract requirement ensures that the data obtained at different CLP laboratories are comparable. Extensive documentation makes data tracking and reconstruction possible negotiated prices for laboratory contracts and the economy of scale due to large numbers of samples make the CLP cost-effective and efficient.
