A Blueprint

Since 1929 I have continuously studied the development and discoveries of the past hundred years in the individual disciplines. Even if the enormous specialization meant that I was not able to examine every corner, 1 nevertheless understood their significance as well as the best of them. 

Where nature ceases to permit new forms to come into being, there man begins to create, starting with the natural things and with the help of this very nature, an infinite variety of forms.

Designing materials rather than relying on trial and error would be much faster and more efhdent. The key to scaling up a tableting process is to consider it during the entire development process. From the inception of a development project, the formulation scientist must consider scale-up. It should not be a process removed from development. A formulation scientist should begin a development project with the end in mind. Just as a builder, prior to nailing boards, planks, and plywood together, has a blueprint of what the structure is supposed to look Uke, a formulator should know what the goals of the delivery system are. 

If we point to the specifications of the brain basis of intellect vs. instinct, the answer is a resounding yes. A blueprint for the majority of the following IPCR applications was introduced in 1993 by Zhou et al. [24] with the appositely termed Universal-IPCR protocol. Drawing up the blueprint also sets a common language and communicates the shared vision for the level of operational excellence required across the production network. It provides a clear idea of the company s future operating system. Company executives also benefit, as it sets their individual activities in an overarching context. However, caution must be exercised so that this does not lead to yet another corporate standard that is not appropriate for the local sites, and therefore is never realized. 

Most companies will need a cleaning validation master plan to function as a blueprint for all activities. Without a master plan many critical aspects will be overlooked.
