Word processing

The 3D inspection system has a number of measuring and report utilities that enables the user to easily find, analyse and report possible indications in the test object. As an example, a moveable 2D projection view plane can be moved along e.g, the welding geometry dynamically updating the content of the 2D projection view window. Indications can be measured using any referenee co-ordinate system and the results and screen dumps can automatically be dumped in report files suited for later import into a word processing application. 

The input could be from a PC (personal computer), as in word processing, but could equally well be from an instrument the output could be to a video screen, a printer, or to the same or another instrument (Figure 42.9). All these functions are organized by the central processor in so-called real time, i.e., virtually immediately.

Current spreadsheet programs contain many advanced capabiUties and enhancements that an engineer might want to use they also offer improved performance, interfaces to data base and word-processing programs and have a host of other features. The word process is from Latin and defines many different aspects. The automation process relates to the automatic regulation required to control the physical conditions in a system. The term process relates to both the optimal conditions within which the operation is maintained and when the operation varies with time or by a predetermined plan. 

The requirement does not mean that you need to validate all your word-processing software or any other special aids you use. Maintenance means retaining in an operational condition and you can do this by following some simple rules.

Apply a guide word to the process parameter to suggest possible deviations. A list of guide words is shown in Table 10-3. Some of the guide word process parameter combinations are meaningless, as shown in Tables 10-4 and 10-5 for process lines and vessels.

It is an interactive tool for Windows and Macintosh that lets users create mathematical notation for word processing and desktop publishing documents, web pages, and presentations. 

We will use the word process here to mean any physical chemistry requiring a change in energy.
