Value Added. Analysis of the gain in verification effectiveness versus the cost involved and the potential alternatives. 

Value-Added Analysis With this activity, a process improvement team strips the process down to its essential elements. The team isolates the activities that in the eyes of the customer actually add value to the product or service. The remaining non-value-adding activities ( waste ) are targeted for extinction. Value Chain Activities outside of your organization that add value to your final product, such as the value-adding activities of your suppliers.

Fitting analysis. For this to be possible, an assembly sequence plan must be constructed and the difficulty of assembling each part in the sequence rated using the design for assembly analysis tables. Difficult assembly tasks and non-value added processes are revealed as candidates for correction by redesign. Simple concepts such as the ability to assemble in a layer fashion can result in major cost savings. 

Your procedures should detail your plant evaluation methods and require consideration to be given to the overall plan of the plant, automation, ergonomics, operator and line balance, inventory levels, and value added labor content. Reports of the evaluation should be required so that they facilitate analysis by management and auditors.

Using a 260/wafer sales price for epitaxial silicon wafers and the United States MACRS tax-basis depreciation schedule, the investor s rate of return (IRR) is 18.3%. In addition, the return on investment (ROI) is 25.3%. These measures increase significantly with small changes in sales price for example, at 273/wafer, the IRR is 29.9%. Note that the economic analysis is somewhat shielded from variations in the price of epitaxial wafers because it is strongly linked to the price of the incoming polished wafers. As discussed in previous chapters, implementing value-added pharmacy services requires a comprehensive strategic plan that includes a mission statement, SWOT analysis, goals and objectives that the practice hopes to achieve, and strategies to achieve the objectives. There are many polymer chain modification reactions of different types that have been carried out on polymer melts processed in single and twin rotor extruders. Based on our analysis of the World Bank report, we find that the 25 percent figure exaggerates the role of oil and gas in the Russian economy. The assumptions used in this exercise seem very strong Russia has to transport its gas and oil over thousands of kilometers, whereas Dutch and British oil and gas are much closer to consumers. The World Bank recalculations are inconsistent with value-added from oil and gas in other energy-exporting countries such as Mexico. As noted above, trends in energy output run counter to recent increases in GDP in Russia, a situation that the World Bank does not challenge. 

Additionally, someone skilled in the art of conducting such sessions, who can also contribute directly to the risk analysis, would be a cost-effective, value-added influence.
